MONO-Theism – It’s Not Exactly a Kissing Disease
Monotheism is divisive, warlike and ego inflating by nature. It pretends that someone is all right, and the rest are all wrong. It is us vs. them, me vs. you, we vs. they, the true people vs the false, God’s people vs. the pagans, the chosen people vs. the unchosen, converted vs. unconverted, of God vs. of the Devil and on and on. It is the idea that one group of people can find the true God to the exclusion of others that is the basis for so much carnage and killing on the planet.
This is an article expanding the beautiful prayer by St. Francis of Assisi in practical metaphysical terms, with quotes from A Course in Miracles.
Give To The Lord All The Glory That Is Due His Name – Yet What About This Prideful Nature In Us?Well the insect for an hour glorify itself next to the sun that warmed it into life? Shall the vase exalt itself above the potter who fashioned it on the wheel? Shall the dust of the desert struggle with the whirlwind? Or the drops of the ocean resist the hurricane? Give unto the Lord, all you who are good, give unto the Lord the glory and strength; give unto Him the honor that is due to His name.
Remote Healing – No Permission NeededSpiritual and psychic healing arts have entered our cultural mainstream. With the widespread acceptance of the healing arts remote healing (aka distance or absent healing) has been gaining tremendous ground on the internet. The internet is an ideal medium for initiating instances of remote healing. If you are in need of care or have the capacity to share your compassion and healing energy with someone else you can easily hook up across the internet. Healing is free energy, and while you will always run across someone trying to market their energy you don’t need to pay for this blessing and you will now always be able to find someone who will help you for free.
Saved By Faith Alone?Professing Christians claimed that they were already saved because of their faith (alone) in Christ. They were not saved by their works but by their faith alone. However, is it true that faith is enough for a man to be saved? Are the true Christians have been saved by faith alone?
In all religions there are people who have said they have God face to face and lived. How can this be when many of us have heard that no one can bear to look at God? Moses was reported to have almost seen God. He was told to only look at the glory of God as he passed, because he could not bear to see him in his fullness and live. Jesus was said to have not only have seen God, but have to have been a part of God, “The word wrapped in flesh and dwelling among men,” so that he could show them the beauty and creative power of God.
