When you are going through tough times, you should always hold on to faith. It is the faith in Almighty that will give you the right strength which will help you deal with the tormenting times.

I was so encouraged when I heard a Pastor say that it is impossible for God to do nothing, that simple little statement had an enormous impact on me. It increased my confidence in the Lord, gave me joy and encouraged my hope.

The routines of our lives can sometimes lull us into the illusion that nothing else exists outside of our own focus. In order to see the needs of others, we must step out of our routines and our comfort zones and put ourselves into the shoes of others.

The final destination of the Christian journey is to meet God. Everything we do is a building block toward that end. This journey has gleaming touchstones, and we must attempt to show that God cares enough to give us the chance to commit our whole lives to him.

Last night I had an experience that shook me a little. No, it didn’t shake my faith. Just shook me up and made me realize that I’m being required to stretch. Here is an idea of how the faith process makes sense for me.

Sometimes things don’t work right. What do you do when it happens?

When Jesus called the disciples He said to them two words, follow Me. He did not explain to them His plan first then said follow me instead, He told them to follow Him because He knew the plan He had for them as well as for Himself. It is natural for us to attempt to work out a plan for our life but it is not spiritual and that is why most of our planning would fail. We would rely upon what we think is right for us but that is not always a good thing because we cannot see what is ahead of us but God sees the future therefore, He knows what is best for us.

Do you ever have a hard time grounding? I do sometimes, and I certainly did this morning. That was unusual, because I decided to do a quick meditation before getting out of bed. You would think that the time just after waking up, you would still be in a grounded state, but that was not the case for me this morning.

God is suffering because the children of the Spirit have gone after other gods. In the end the promise is that they will return when the truth is known. We have arrived at that time.

Everybody wants to know why things happen. Sometimes we never find out though.
