To the church, there is an important message. Notwithstanding the core of the message of chapter 3, that of the power of faith over the powerless rigour of the Law, there is a deeper issue at stake. The evil of false teaching, then and today, threatened and threatens the cohesiveness and direction of the church.

Restoration is painstaking effort, by seekers of the truth, to restore back the original way of worshiping God in spirit and in truth, as presented in the New Testament Scriptures. Jesus is about the only person I think who could make a tax collector turn from their cunning ways, I think that this is one of the most beautiful things about Christ; he identifies with ordinary people, and place himself in between their problems.

Within our own consciousness, we have two distinct voices that we have the choice of listening to. One comes from our Higher Self, the God-within.

When a mantra is repeated mentally it’s called japa, which translates from the Sanskrit as “muttering.” Practicing mantra meditation can awaken within you a deeper spiritual awareness and allow you to make that awareness a part of your daily life. There are many types of meditation and within each type there are individual interpretations. For some, it’s following the breath and for others it’s quiet reflection or self-awareness.

What you are intensely interested in, desire and hope for profoundly affects every area of your life – if you openly express it. Also, as I can bear out from my own experience, when you start focussing on something, it starts popping up everywhere. So if you are a person with a spiritual outlook, how can you be authentic about your spiritual experiences and insights, instead of hiding them for fear of what the critical post-modern mind will make of them? This, I believe, is what spiritual balance is all about.

People have many questions around Ascension and around what to do / how to be during these challenging times such that we raise our consciousness and ascend into the “higher dimensions” of life. Recently, while thinking about how best to communicate some of the important ideas, I remembered some events in the late nineties and early 2000s that triggered / catalyzed my consciousness. Automatic writing can be a very cathartic, healing process. The first couple of times I engaged in automatic writing I had the mistaken belief that channeling would occur through my hand. As we are made in the image of God, so Christ is the very image of God. The distinction is made; this is not about his physical appearance: Jesus, the man. The characteristics of the LORD characterised the personality of Jesus. These traits of the Son of Humanity were, unlike his physical presence, hence invisible. Yet, they can be observed in the mind’s eye as we read the gospels. Notwithstanding, the Son is himself God – the precise representation and manifestation, eternally.
