Religious Hindu poems are an integral part of the cultural life of any devout Hindu. Many of these poems are recited or sung as prayers daily or on special occasions, while others are listened to or sung as devotional pieces whenever desired by the devotee.

When you see something, are you sure of what you saw? For example, if you were walking through Metro Station in Washington, DC on a cold January morning and saw a man with a violin playing Bach pieces, wouldn’t you perceive him to be poor and trying his best to make some money? Well that’s exactly how the patrons at the station perceived him, and so they paid him a mere few minutes of attention (if any), threw him some change, and moved on to their destination.

The Lord’s Prayer was the prayer Jesus gave the disciples when they asked him how to pray. While you could spend a lifetime learning how to live it out, the basic principles are actually quite simple.

I have been having this dream for years about my grandfather who passed away when I was young. We are in the middle of the road close to his house. He is driving his dump truck and I’m just standing there.

Well, what do you think? What do you believe your life is about? Do you have a philosophy on life? So what then, are you about enjoying life and having the right to be happy? Can we really just choose to be happy? If not what is life about?

A heaviness of vibration limits our ability to experience our essence or soul. This density or slowness is the result or consequence of choices for personal gain, harmful emotions, beliefs and limited perceptions and what we eat. Any change or alteration in any of these areas produces room for growth.

This series of articles deals with how we can increase the vibratory rate of our physical body, so that we might experience the energies of soul. The density of vibration, which limits our experience of soul in the physical sense, can also be addressed with the simplest of exercises. No prior experience necessary.

Imaging a world of love and joy for everyone, this is Heaven on Earth. Imaging abundance for all people. No more sickness, no more suffering or pain. War does not exist in this new world of Heaven on Earth.

Crystals are created in many different forms, shapes and sizes. The shape of a crystal increases its own natural energy, assisting all who work with crystals to enhance meditation and healing on many levels to include the cellular level.

Philosophy is the study of realities, pursuit of wisdom, and commentary on general principles of life. It is concerned with a search of eternal truth, both conceptual as well as practical. It has five areas of search – Epistemology, Metaphysics, Aesthetics, Ethics and History. The instrument used by philosophy to unearth realities or to discover truth is logic, both inductive as well deductive. Educational philosophy is a branch of general philosophy, it gains strength from epistemology. It formulates the aims and objectives or contents of education that, in turn, influence the whole learning environment, society, and future generations.

Here I continue from a previous article, The Essentials of BEING Spiritual, and go into the key qualities required to “getting spiritual.” It’s not about what you believe but about how you live with integrity. A commitment to truth is foundational for being grounded and connected to reality, the stepping stone to living in full presence. This is the 1st of 3 articles on how to “get” spiritual. These 3 follow the introductory one of what qualifies “being” spiritual.
