Many are kept from God’s truth by those who don’t understand God’s grace and love. The emphasis on sinning, or legalism, is contradictory to the teachings and life of Christ.

Do not underestimate the power of loving kindness. Poor humanity, it’s not very developed as yet. We’re not far beyond our animal nature. That’s the one that is me, me, me – fearful and selfish. But our next step, I believe, is to just reach a level of “loving kindness” universally. It doesn’t seem like asking very much, but it’s what we need to do now – to operate with loving kindness in all our activities.

Much of Christendom seems to deny God’s sovereignty. Above all else, we must understand that God is sovereign and in all ways.

We are justified by faith alone, so says Paul, the apostle. We cannot work our way into God’s favor or salvation, only faith in God’s son will make us justified in God’s eyes.

Myriad Traditions give us very specific instructions on the PROPER way to perform magic, usually contradictory, with the assumed purpose of giving us something to fight about. The top three on the list are the PROPER way to cast a circle, elemental grouping of ritual tools, and last but not least, the legitimacy of someone else’s degree or Tradition. Lets begin, shall we?

Who are we? We are the sons of Yahweh, the daughters of Goddess, the children of God, the gifts of the Divine, the blessings of the Beloved. We are the faces of our ancestors and the embodiment of our souls. We are the poetry of the Master Creator who has blessed us with the beauty, awe, and fecundity that only she can manifest.

As I was sitting in my truck this morning waiting for the library to open, I saw a squirrel traipsing along under a picnic table among the trees in the park and I wondered about the freedom of the squirrels. They can go anywhere. It is people who are in trouble.

Many folks (not everyone) are experiencing their “worst of times” these days – at work, at home or in relationship. Their reactions to their “worst of times” are most often driven by fear, uncertainty, hopelessness, helplessness, despair and insecurity on many levels – physical, mental, emotional, psychological, financial, social, etc.

Kabbalah is an ancient mystical teaching that centers on a systematic view of the universe called The Tree of Life. This “Tree” consists of ten universal powers that direct creation. According to Kabbalah, God accessed these powers in the design and creation of the universe, and passed these powers onto human beings to carry out the continuation of the vast creative project that is the universe. This means that you and I have within us the capacity to access these divine creative powers to direct our own destiny.

Psychiatry and psychology tell us that repression is unhealthy. Yet, we often find ourselves repressing ourselves when we are resisting something new. The “funny” thing is, we resist the new even in many times where we are on the verge of having a new desire manifest in our life, or where we are about to achieve or learn something new and wonderful.
