Everyone is afraid of something, whether it be the global economy and economic job outlook, the war on terror, making sure you have enough saved up for your retirement years or your children’s education. The uncertainty of just “surviving” and making it through another day ways heavily on everyone’s minds these days. I really believe the way to conquer your FEAR is through FAITH.

One wonders what would it feel like if they were in the presence of God. Interesting questions to which I propose ‘what if’ scenario. If you were the creator of all that is, all that you loved, how would you divide yourself equally among all, so that you show no favoritism among the groups?

It might appear obvious after it is written or said but that is true with most statements. When a Christian is involved in advocacy, with and on behalf of the poor, nothing significant will be achieved for the Kingdom of God without the total dependence upon Almighty God in serious concerted prayer.

What is this thing called “Grace?” How does this process of heavenly salvation re-engineer everything we ever knew or thought? And why us?

We want many things. It is part of our needy character to want things all the time. Not just items of consumption but for ourselves, to build us up. When we buy a car, choose a pretty dress, or design the interior of our house, we project our personality outward and announce it to the world. Singing at a karaoke bar is another way of publicising who we are. Or by writing articles. These are all ways of saying, “I am here, world, notice me. Pay me attention.” This is a vital part of our self-recognition and of endorsing our worth in society. But faith does something different. The value of faith is that it circumvents that outward calling, and calls us from the inside.

Sometimes people feel like they have sinned so much their atonement is hopeless. They think maybe their sins cannot be forgiven, but that is not true. Our sins can be forgiven. We can accomplish this, and know our destiny will be in a beautiful, light place of unconditional love.

The average Christian spends about an hour a week in active worship of God. So what does the average Christian do, “for the other 167 hours a week”? I have no desire to even attempt to answer this question. This is a personal, deep; soul searching question that the average Christian should investigate after reading this article. However a great place to start, and where we are going to start, would be in researching what is expected of the average Christian. What does God expect us, His children, His creation, His image, the average Christian, to do “for the other 167 hours a week”?

Alignment with Source is a feeling of home. Resting always in that divine space where all is well no matter what.

To create meaningful and memorable significance a person would first and foremost need a connection between their head and their heart. I am not a particularly religious person, but I believe that God’s spirit lives within our heart (as the Bible refers to), so to bridge the thinking brain he gave us, to the compassionate heart his spirit resides in creates a more fulfilling life; one of joy, of self control, of peace and one that the world will not necessarily understand.
