God is the perfect example to mankind concerning patience. His patience is the assurance and comfort in all our weaknesses. Our hearts are far from perfection; but, God does not cast us out.

Rejection is like a slap in the face from a good friend. It awakens emotions within us that we hoped never to encounter. There are certain things that we do whether they are done intentionally or not that benefit our own well being. These deeds enable us receive blessings from God that allow us to walk in his grace without our knowledge.

The majority of humanity on a daily basis experience cloudy/overcast days, with maybe glimpses of sun trying to penetrate and brighten up our lives. But even on those days, the storms created by the mind because of wrong thinking block out the sun and leave a life in darkness – fear and despair. This fear expresses itself in many forms – insecurity, inferiority complex, limited self-belief etc.

Do you remember, back in high school, your guidance counselor asking you, “What do you want to DO when you grow up?” You know, do you wanna be a doctor, lawyer, teacher, etc. How many people, when first presented that question, had no clue?
