What good is there in defining something if we can’t describe what it looks like and map our way to get there? This article proposes to define inner peace. It’s hoped that we can go further than that.

Have you ever noticed how children have so much energy, they think that everyone has that type of energy? You can pick up a child and toss it in the air a couple of times and when you put it down it wants to go again, and again, and again. It could be grandpa visiting and he arrives when the little boys are playing soccer, his grandchild sees him and runs off to greet him.

True harmony is only found in the love of God. This is proven in the Bible, and in the realm of life. Until we embrace the life-transforming power of the love of Almighty God and allow it to change the manner in which we deal with our fellowman, we cannot have real unity, for the ways of the flesh are rooted in selfishness, jealousy and competition. Peace with man-kind then, is something that only the Spirit of God can develop in our hearts toward each other. Peace with God comes through receiving the Lord Jesus Christ as Lord and personal Savior. The power of His blood washes us from sin, making us clean in God’s sight, enabling us to come boldy before the Throne of Grace to make our requests known. We are no longer God’s enemies. We are His children, born of His Spirit and His Word. We have peace with Him. Then we can develop in the peace of God. This happens as we read, study and meditate in the Bible and put the Word into practice. The third area of peace which must now be embraced is peace toward man-kind.

Living a peaceful life is what everybody wants but not everybody gets. There are things that we want to achieve but cannot achieve and it gives us the pressure to do more every single time. In other cases, there are things that we have and want to get rid of but we just can’t get it off our mind.

Jeremiah offers Psalm 1 imagery. We imagine a sole tree in a desert, but one fed by an abundant nearby stream. Both tree and stream appear out of place in the landscape of the desert, but they cast forth an important metaphor to remember.

Astral projection is a term which denotes a kind of an out-of-body experience (OBE). The idea presumes that there exists an astral body which can travel anywhere in the universe and is entirely distinct from the earthly body. This travel is made possible when the astral body departs toward the astral world.

Life is a time limited offer. This life is temporary. Where do you believe the road leads thereafter and do you know the way? Which way will you go?

Many spiritual workers are terrified that they’re working from ego, sometimes so much so that they lose their sense of self and respect for their own abilities. Yet there is a very easy way to know whether you’re working from ego, maybe not a particularly pleasant one but if you’ve ever been through this and survived it you can be sure that you’re working – simply for the love of Spirit.

Peace is something everyone wants, but so few experience in this world. And yet it is available to each person who desires it. Peace is a spiritual force, which causes our souls to rest, to find tranquility and relaxation, even in the very midst of chaos. Peace comes from God and is a result of living in the will of God for our lives. There are three areas of peace which we can and should enjoy, because God has provided them for us. Firstly, there is peace with God. Secondly, there is the peace of God.

The information we constantly receive with the expectation for speedy reaction is not helping to stay calm, focus and think clear. And only when we think clear, all is so easy, we find the answers.

Paul is found pondering a day to come when perfection before Christ will be known. He’s torn between two desirable realities; he wishes to live, yet he wants to be with the Lord (Philippians 1:23-24). Still, there are glimpses of faith, hope and love, and in that, definable perfection. It can be attained and maintained for moments; miraculous instants – gems of grace in the realm of time.
