The family is made up of the father, mother and children. The ability to establish a chain of authority where God becomes the head of the home followed by the father, mother and children in that order, will help create love and happiness in such a home.

Prayer is a divine communication between an individual who makes a request and God who dwells in heaven above. Sometimes, these requests are not positively responded to and it can be quite frustrating.

Every believer in Christ is a unique being having some distinct attributes which can position him/her in the realm of possibilities. In this article, I will be analyzing some of these distinct personality of the believer.

Christ provides the perfect example and pattern for how we can each know our purpose here in life. Christ did not instantly know that He was the chosen and foreordained Messiah, nor did He instantly know the full purpose of His earthly mission. He gained that knowledge gradually and by taking certain steps. Those steps provide a pattern that we, too, can follow.

The self-fulfilling prophesy is true so far as this is concerned: when we notice certain states about us, and we’re given to believe them, they’ll become us with great effect quicker than we’d imagine. This is how burnout occurs…

“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” Hebrews 4:16 (KJV) The essence of prayer is to get results, to have your prayers answered. Many people pray but get no results because they do not know how to pray effectively. Our Father really wants to answer ALL our prayers but we need to know how to effectively pray and receive these answers.

Everything is changing so fast for us, it can be scary when we don’t understand the changes or how we are going to fit in with them. Our world is evolving as we speak, and so are we! We just have to breath keep it simple and connect to our deeper awareness!

I used to be in search of a book, workshop or practice that would, in a matter of hours or days, change me forever. I’d stop doubting myself, my relationships would always go smoothly, I’d become courageous enough to always say how I felt, and so on. I had this goal in mind, consciously or not, with every self-help book I bought, workshop I attended, and spiritual practice I tried. “This is going to be the one,” I’d say to myself. “This teacher will transform my life and end my suffering, once and for all.”

Living forever in the universe! A massively profound statement for some or an open-ended question for others. You know for the last couple of years I have truly been trying to create a balance in life, I have been focusing on what I consider to be the four cornerstones of existence namely, Health – my body, my temple or my vehicle, Family – the importance of community and belonging, Finance – security for myself and for those who depend on me, and finally spirituality – finding peace in ones own existence.

If one stands back from the screen of life, one will notice that our focus of attention is based on egotist conflict where one sees themselves as separate from all that is. The simple fact is, our minds are the stage where we are entertained by the diversity of false egotist conflicts as a form of entertainment. From the first time we start to observe life at the very young age, we are lead into the trap of the ego.

God loves us because he himself is love. Love is not God, but God is love. It is his character and nature to love. It is better explained when we contrast the nature and character of Satan. He is evil, full of lies and wants to kill and destroy.
