Dear Friends! Another day of running around in the city has dawned, but while I will be waiting either in waiting rooms or in line somewhere, I will be thinking about what to write next. Writing about divine love, signs and symbols has become my life as I intensely live through them each time they come my way. The stronger my faith grows and the less fearful I am of my future, the more God reveals His divine face to me. Then again, it is possible that He was around me all along, but I was blind to His divine presence; now, however, because of my deep involvement with Him, I am more sensitive to the way He expresses His love for me. I notice Him more, especially in times of crises when I need reassurance and comfort and at times even rescue; he comes before I call on Him.

In the Cycle of Cycles there are trillions of God Realised Souls, billions of Perfect Masters, millions of Prophets and hundreds of thousands of Avatars. But there are only ten full Avatars of God the Father who comes to earth, and of these Meher Baba is the last and greatest beyond all measure. The Avatar Meher Baba is the Ancient One – the original Soul and Source of all other Souls in creation.

There is wisdom in the many situations and in the relationships you have experienced along the way. The essence of Self-Mastery is one of discovering or re-discovering all that you are. There is much to learn and much to un-learn along the journey called life in this realm of dense physical matter.

How does love express itself as giving? Giving causes people to take note of what we are doing. We live in such a self-centered world that it seems natural to us to just take from others and look for more avenues for taking. Giving, though, is not as frequent an action. Giving helps those in need to understand that they are worthwhile. Giving is a creative force that can help people who are living on a destructive path to pause and turn things around. Most of us can look back and point to a teacher or someone who helped us out in a particularly hard time by giving of their time and concern. Giving counters the tend that leads from selfishness to disregard of others and then to violence.

The gold of the message of Christ is in the same well-worn message, no matter how well we badge and re-badge it. That gold is in other-centredness. That gold is realised via the mind of Christ.

Did you know that the Bible contains the secret to your success as a Christian? There may be many who believe that a Christian must lack ambition or take a vow of poverty in order to please God. But that’s not really what the Bible teaches. It is true that Christians should have their priorities right and put God first in everything they do. But did you know that God wants His people to experience prosperity? Did you know that God desires His people to have “good success”?

Is there a more important spiritual condition than the contemplative nature of rest, including true nearness, within the LORD our God? At such a place, where one is free to roam, perfectly still of spirit, even in the presence of pitch darkness, the Spirit prevails. Quiet now…

Here I will relate my first big spiritual awakening and experience of oneness. I was in college in Vermont, having a bad day. After classes and meetings with teachers, I went back to my dorm room and sat down to meditate.

Are we Holy? We could no possibly be unless we’ve let the flesh truly die, and learned to walk in the spirit, unless we live a life of communion, of commitment and dedication to God, a life of praise and worship. This comment demands an explanation, because we can worship God at work, in our daily affairs, in our every thought, in our every conversation, we can honor and glorify God 24 hours a day if we truly commit to it.
