Where are you living? It is Resurrection Day and we read of a band of men who are living on the wrong side of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, and that is where many are living today in this broken, sad, warring, troubled world. People are groping in the dark today just as these men were on this occasion. As Resurrection Day dawned these men felt hopelessly inadequate in face of the grim facts which they thought were confronting them. The supreme need of the world just now is to discover Jesus Christ risen, living and alive! The Upper Room is a kind of microcosm of our world today – hopeless! One real glimpse of Christ, and you become courageous and invincible.

While reviewing chapter 2 of the online class and watching Oprah and Eckhart Tolle, author of A New Earth, answer a skyper from Ireland inquiring as to how she might introduce being fully present to her small children; I had an ah-ha moment that called to remembrance a previous discovery of mine. Eckhart wisely recognized the unfortunate fate of us all growing up is that “we become lost in a world of conceptualization”. It’s what I call spiritual paralysis by reason of excessive mental analysis, which hinders us from being fully present.

Will Power is the key ingredient to all success. Education and talent won’t do it. Will power will. You don’t need more learning nor education, you need to get discipline.

There are times when it feels as though dark states of discouragement dog us, following us around as if just waiting for us fall down, never to rise again. On these days our own lackluster emotions are hounded by thoughts barking at us that nothing is right with our lives. Sound familiar? Clearly, discouragement is a punishing state.

Why would one need faith? If you can see it, feel it and taste it, you don’t need faith at all.

In the death of Jesus on the Cross, He has secured the “healing of the broken-hearted” and the “setting free of the oppressed. But many people, even many Believers, have not heard His Call into freedom. Instead, they stay hidden in walls of self-protection, fearing the familiar pain and trauma they’ve experienced in even normal, human relationships. Yet as Christ has already set them free, all they need is to hear from us, that it’s SAFE to come out from hiding!

What is the secret to eternal life? It is not religion or religious beliefs that trigger the law of attraction about eternity. The secret is within you and you use it every day. Knowing the secret allows the law of attraction to work for you.

I had a talk with God again this morning. Amazingly, I have his ‘number’ – can I share it with you? You see, I have found an effortless, easy and enjoyable way for you to have a direct line to your infinitely wise and loving God-Self. Ponder, just for moment, on the possibilities that could unfold for you in your life if you too could have free access to the undying and loving the counsel from the source of infinite wisdom.

Today, I understand where “evil” truly lies: not in some “bewitched” TV series, not in “that rock-n-roll devil music”, not in “Mr. Smith across the street who’s always sitting on his front porch with a beer in his hand!” No — the people who trained me religiously in my youth had me looking for evil in all the wrong places! Don’t look for “evil” in the bars, the theaters, the ghettos or the coming Anti-Christ (who is “alive in Jordan, even today as we speak…”) Quit looking for evil in all the wrong places, and instead, under the True Light of the Holy Spirit, look into your own heart.

Leadership is the embodiment of mastery to task. It is the mental, physical and spiritual dexterity at the helm of power.

Everything that ever happened to you in the past only exists now because you choose to bring into your conscious awareness. Whenever you pay attention to something in the past you are wasting the present moment — the only time that really matters.
