Death is a great teacher, teaching us to live fully in each moment, because we never know when our transition may come. Death gives meaning; when we act with courage and confront the reality of death, we enhance our motivation to live with a greater awareness and clarity of purpose. Finally, death gently persuades us to act immediately, rather than putting things off for another day. Death is inevitable and will visit you when it is your time; your task is to live to the best of your ability, in the here and now, and when death does arrive, you will be prepared to take the next step in the eternal journey of the soul.

Sometimes, even though I think I have a deeper understanding, I wonder what is behind the veil beyond in the purest sense. I was thinking about the work of Harold Sherman, Brian Weiss, Dick Sutphen and others, and I realized that Shakespeare quote that “there are more things in heaven and on earth than dreamed of by mortal man” is the honest reality and that “this is it” is dishonest.

More than twenty-five years ago, we didn’t take demons and evil spirits seriously and were skeptical of the idea of dark and demonic energy. Today, having pierced the veil that separates the mundane world and the higher and lower planes long ago, we deal with entities of various levels, from higher-level guides to demons, on a regular basis.

Oh, this is an incredibly hard word for so many of us, most, if not all of us. We all aspire to rise to another level of effectiveness in this life. None of us are quite where we aspire to be – whether that be a career, vocation, family, or personal goal.

Many have the experience of hearing their name called when there is no one else around. You can be on a desert island and hear it or walking along the street, in the garden, or even in bed. Suddenly and without reason something calls out your name and you are instantly stopped in your tracks.

There is only one way one can do this and that is through the memory of reincarnation. In my case I was a man, nothing special and probably without much to leave behind. As my ‘being’ (call it spirit) floated above the body there were some noticeable things.

For the longest time I believe I was seeking God because I thought if I was consistent in my seeking then He would reward me. But today I was reading Matthew 6:33 and it hit me that I no longer do this. I feel as if I have returned to a child-like love for Him.

We often talk about a person’s walk with Christ. That’s because the feet tell us two very important facts about someone: where one is standing and which way someone is going. A firm stand and a consistent walk are both traits we admire in other Christians. This Object lesson uses shoes as a reminder of the need for youth to walk daily with Christ.

It’s not a trick question, but one that most people need to think about who are expecting the rapture at the end of the day. Many are paying heaps to various religious organisations from which they get nothing, but promises and threats. They are told that God doesn’t speak to anyone but their priest or the Pope and that only by following Church laws will they get to heaven.
