The Book of Numbers is a vital part of the Pentateuch because it illustrates the dawning realisation by the Israelites of the true power of the Lord who has set them apart for special treatment. Getting to know God is still the toughest part of our faith walk. We go through all the same stages the Israelites went through of doubt, fear, rebellion, confusion, and, perhaps more than anything, COMPLAINING.

Quite apart from Jesus the all-time greatest of the heroes of the Christian Faith, there were others who qualify to be classified as worthy heroes. The plank of this article is to encourage Christians to study the lives of great men and women who lived in the deep past.

Every Christian or any religious person should know that our worth or value is directly related to the service we render. The Christian product or service is his/her goldmine.

In the religious parlance, it is crystal clear that in Creation God’s cardinal intention about man as a Christian and essentially a spirit being is for man to have dominion over His creation. Therefore, it needs be stressed that God did not create man to be:

The word of God is real wealth to any Christian. Anything that may be described as comfort and satisfaction must come from the word of God. If it has its source from outside the word of God you can be sure that it’s fake.

This is a rush-around world we live in. No matter how much we try to slow things down, down-size, or reduce our responsibilities, somehow the old snowball of stress manages to gather pace on us. The reason is that it is becomingly increasingly difficult to isolate ourselves. New technologies ensure that we are always in touch, and that means always touchy. So how do we beat the communications invasion?

Tolerance of others’ choices has gained new meaning. It used to mean that you would tolerate, allow, and permit negatively, to not necessarily agree. But today, tolerance of others’ choices has become the highest form of morality. We have become a culture of humanists. “I’m number one,” “I am what matters.” Choices that are made are decided by what matters to me. Individual choice has become a weakness, a downfall to our society.

The art of energy protection is a dual-sided coin, just as everything else in life has its opposites so does protection. One side is dealing with energy depletion and the other side is dealing with energy restoration.

Are you looking for some clarity in your life? Does your life, your mind, your heart, your soul seem to be scattered, confused? And in this scattered and confused condition you can find no peace, no rest for your soul? “O’ Lord, teach me your way, so that I can live by Your Truth; make me single-hearted, so that I can fear Your Name.”

What are spiritual messages? Where do they come from? Each one of us had the potential to tap into our intuition and discover a wealth of love and joy that resides there. Your own spiritual self communicates to you through your intuition. Your innate gifts, your talent all will be revealed to you as you allow yourself to discover the fullness of who you really are.

According to scripture, there is spiritual wisdom and there is earthly wisdom. One builds up, creates healthy living organisms, and the other debilitates and destroys. But how do we know which is which?

From who can I get blessings? People who practice great compassion, forgiveness and love. And that is not just the type of love that we give towards our family because that is biased. It is a kind of love that is not based on getting something back from the other person.
