If we hold our possessions with an open hand God will be able to use them and we won’t be slaves to them. I thought I was showing Him my love by my mere presence. In reality, I was not mentally built for a relationship with God at that time. I was grabbing at a concept I had yet to understand.

A Day to Pray

Every year around this same time, Christians all over the United States come together in agreement through prayer. Better known as the “National Day of Prayer”. There is a lot of power behind the fervent prayer of the righteous man. There are so many issues that need prayer and intercession. I applaud the attempt that people are making right now to raise money for the needy all around the world. It is making people sit up and take notice of the condition of this planet. But, more than anything, we need to bring our petitions before the good Lord for other issues that are taking place in the 21st century. Won’t you join us on this special day of prayer?
