Love’s the higher spiritual law. We know when God’s Spirit convicts us of something; we don’t generally have a choice in the matter. This is not about being made to do things, but it’s the conviction of love that compels us more fervently. We’re convinced it’s the right thing to do.

The mindset of defeat is one of the major tricks of the devil at this end time to rob Christians of their blessings and heavenly promises from their God. The greatest form of defeat is defeating oneself (following one’s inclination or thought via human calculations) even before the situation or enemy defeat one. Thus, a Christian that is ready to get the best from God must learn how to overcome the mindset of defeat using his/her faith.

Just yesterday I had an awesome experience with my fellow brothers in Christ; also formerly called SOLD (Servants of the Lord) Franco Arollado’s place at Pasir Ris. Servants for Family and Life (SvFL) is a community of men who are mostly overseas contract workers (also commonly known as OFW or overseas Filipino workers) though most of us have permanent jobs here in Singapore, an expatriate would be nice to hear too.

Ever enter a building or walked down a street that gave you a funny vibe, even though there was nothing out of the ordinary about it? Likewise, have you ever travelled somewhere and felt at naturally at home, even though it was the first time you’ve been there? Perhaps there are countries in the world that you have only seen in pictures, but feel some karmic pull towards.

I once had a friend who used to say, “math isn’t everything, but everything is math”. He was a musician, who understood the manifestation of numbers on a page into the harmonious composition of the universe. Perhaps he belonged to the church of Pythagoreanism, founded by the Greek philosopher and mathematician Pythagoras, inventor of the Pythagorean theorem, a familiar term to every student of basic geometry.

Living the life of faith can be tough. Sometimes baby believers and new converts are not told that living for Jesus complicates many things rather than making everything suddenly easier. This is why assurances like the one should be promoted, and often.

An angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthened him. And being in anguish, he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground. ~Luke 22:43-44 (NIV).

Residing within your consciousness is the ability to communicate with those who have passed beyond the physical world. It is a natural faculty which resides within you because of the true nature of reality. There is nothing supernatural about it. Supernatural is a term that we apply because we don’t understand.

A condition of true belief is the willingness to face the truth about one’s life. That we own sin as we live and breathe. That we need a Saviour. That the only way to true peace is through a truly penitent life, no matter who we say we believe in.

Why is it difficult talking about the end of our lives or the lives of our friends and loved ones? We have classes in how to live, how to improve our homes, our spiritual life, or our marriage.

Living by faith, as a concept, is really simple. There is no mystery to the idea of it. But, we try to overcomplicate this one, as if that wasn’t redundant enough as it is. We obscure the simplicity of it, primarily for two reasons. First, because we want to believe that we have complete control of our own lives, and second, because we want to justify our struggles doing what’s right because it isn’t always as easy or acceptable, and so we don’t always do it. But truly living by faith takes no effort or deep thought, it takes no unraveling of hidden secrets, and it isn’t difficult.

The criteria for graduation from the earth plane is obedience to the Universal Laws, freely given, unthinkingly given. In other words, there is no decision, no agonizing about your responses and reactions to any situation.
