Why Isolation is so Important for well being

IT IS ALWAYS a difficult thing to write on whether someone is a real Christian or not, notwithstanding the thought that may meander in and through anyone who considers it. I do not want to think of myself as anything other than a real Christian, but I have to look with consternation – which, ironically, is the sign of a willingness to repent – a godly portion – as I consider how I often, and how graphically at times, I still fall short of the glory of God.

Is it worth walking in love? Some people think that walking in love is weakness and that they will get nothing in return for all their efforts. However, the truth is that those who enjoy the most are those who are walking in Love. This is because God’s attention is drawn to those who obey His commandments; and one of His commandments is that we walk in love – 1 John 4:21.

The universe works in mysterious ways and we may never understand it. Just last week, I had a wonderful reminder of this very thing.

The nature of God is manifest over the dwelling places of the Almighty – YHWH inhabits eternity and broken beings. How could two places be any more distant in actuality – the purity and beauty of eternity and the embodied imperfection of brokenness? Yet, God dwells in both. Such is the integrity of the Godhead that the Spirit of the Lord can be in dichotomous places because something links both places – the desire for righteousness.

Overlook the Word and important matters can be forgotten. Sin will do what it can to divert a man or nation from Worship. One of the notes which is sounded throughout the Word of God, as we have that holy word in the Bible is the importance of worship. Now, do not be put off by the word ‘holy’. Holy simply means being set apart and set apart for God, and for the service of God. It was not God’s army that enabled the people to be set free from Egypt, but God’s strong and mighty arm, and it is only that which will save and rescue our nation today. How many of our current problems is the consequence of a turning away from Almighty God and His Word and the lack of sincere and genuine worship?

Moses knew that there would be no real health in the nation if worship was absent. How might that apply to many nations in these present times who seek to exclude the worship of Almighty God and yet permit and even encourage things like Halloween which is perhaps one of the most dangerous days of the year? Failure in worship results in failure in all kinds of ways, and in virtually every area of life. Is our massive economic difficulty not the consequence of a lack of worship and a deliberate turning away from Almighty God and His holy and perfect ways? A spiritual poverty appears and grows and can become aggressive and antagonistic. Worship lifts and uplifts and encourages and can impart strength and healing. When we worship the living God there are no restrictions and there are no limitations. Come before Him and bow before Him or stand in His presence and worship and receive whatever He want to give you and hear whatever he chooses to say to you.

Worship is the heart and core and centre of the Church of Jesus Christ. Worship must never become the missing jewel in the Church of Jesus Christ, and yet I am told that is various places the place of worship has not remained a priority. When all else is gone, our gracious God, our Creator God, our risen and living Saviour will still be there, and will be there for us. This is where I have that longing to speak and teach to more and more people on the crucial aspect of genuine sincere worship. Because of Jesus Christ, and because of the Holy Spirit, and because of the Word of God, we know God to be kind, forgiving, comforting, compassionate and gracious.

Why Forgive those who wrong? it is for us no for them. To move forward we have to live the past in the past. We can only do that by letting grudges go. By forgiving others.

There is a void in every one of us. This void cannot be filled by anything or anybody in this world. Only God Almighty can fill this void. Until this longing inside each of us is filled, no one can enjoy full satisfaction in this life.
