We live in a world of judgments. We interpret events in our world as either “good for me” or “bad for me”. We are constantly judging ourselves and others without even being aware of it. Judgment involves separation, and a sense of distance from the object being judged. This separation leads to a sense of isolation and to feeling of “not good enough” that permeate our energy and our lives.

As we experience 1998, a year Edgar Cayce identified as a significant mile-post in the long journey from the Piscean to the Aquarian Age, it is important to understand what “the work” is. A.R.E. members have used the term since the organization was founded, but what does it really mean? The term originated in the readings, so that seems a good place to begin.

What if the purpose of life were not simply to be born into a family, go to school, get a job, acquire material goods, create a family of one’s own, grow older, and then eventually die, leaving one’s descendants and family members to repeat the very same cycle? What if one’s life experiences were not simply random chance; instead, some kind of divine purposefulness stood behind the possibilities of every single day for every single individual? What if we suddenly discovered that we were somehow actively responsible for cocreating the substance of our lives? What if we came to realize that our perception of ourselves is extremely limited, for we are, in truth, eternal beings possessing infinitely more than an average of seven to ten decades of life? What if the answer to the question “Who am I?” were much more than we had ever even dared to imagine?

Of special interest to most all parents, once the child is born, is how to go about training. There are at least two key features of Cayce’s approach. First, to train by precept-principles you tell the child-and example-principles you live as a demonstration.

What is an ideal? We are told that a mental concept or that conceived as a standard of perfection is an ideal. Mind is the builder. We are ever striving toward something to worship or something to love, be it physical, mental, or spiritual. From our experience we form ideas; then through the action of imagination we sometimes confuse these ideas with ideals.

Woman or human beings entirely should be wise enough to discern what is morally good as God imputed it in us, except we are reprobates. Do not be deceived by sight. The glittering of the fruit deceived Eve, not knowing that it is worse than bad.

Ever wonder why two people can hear the same thing and yet have very different responses? For one, what is heard makes him afraid and discouraged. For the other, his heart is so filled with faith that he dares to come against the devil and what he is doing.

When Jesus Christ comes and calls at 8 or 18, 28 or 80, the potential remains terrific, tremendous, and also perhaps terrifying. But to say “NO” may mean that for the remainder of your life you have to live with the memory of that act of disobedience. It is possible to say “NO” in a few seconds and have to live with it for years. Never try to argue with God, and never make excuses for not doing what he wants you to do. Moses is trying to suggest that he cannot string two words together. When has that ever been a requirement for service? When has that ever been necessary for obedience? Obedience comes first, and then we leave the rest to Jesus.

This can come as quite a surprise when we discover that not everybody is clamouring to welcome and receive Jesus Christ. Leaders in particular so need to see this because this can prevent those in positions of leadership from being overly disappointed. Jesus Christ has a most wonderful way of calming us down at times when we are on the verge of getting some things so terribly wrong.

Similarly to our physical sun whose light can be broken up into its seven component colors, the Solar Logos of our system is a source of seven great cosmic Rays (or cosmic Flames) of spiritual light. They penetrate our microcosm, build and enrich one of the highest bodies of our microcosm – our causal body. To each of the seven rays there can be assigned various spiritual and physical qualities.

Years ago I was approached by a Being who I had never channeled, yet he felt very familiar. He told me he was the Being known as Osiris, God of Egypt. Before coming to Earth, he lived on a planet in the Sirius Star System. Osiris told me about the two forces of Creation and what Ascension is really about.
