Mind And Spirit Are One And The Same
Mind needs substance to exist as. Spirit is the Essence of Consciousness and the Substance of Mind. Spirit is Mind, because spirit is intelligent. Both words are therefore synonymous. Mind and Spirit are one and the same. We all exist as spirit and we all exist as mind.
With GratitudeWith Gratitude for the opportunity of a lifetime to be here doing whatever is our heart’s desire. With Gratitude for the opportunity to be born Right where I am and Right where you are. With Gratitude for the opportunity to eat what I eat and what you eat. With Gratitude for the opportunity to move here and there and everywhere.
There is a growing concern about the power that is given to the focus on anything I want even if it does not line up with the word of God.
The Parable Of The RoomImagine for a moment that we are all sitting in one huge room. The room that we are in has doors and windows and is like any other room that any of us have been in except for the fact that the room is freezing cold. In fact, it is so cold that everyone in the room has several layers of warm clothing on – hats, gloves, and parkas to insulate us from the bitter cold. And so there we are huddled in the freezing room, desperate for warmth.
No CondemnationWhat have you done that makes you feel worthless? Is there something that makes you believe you that no one on the face of this earth could ever love you? Read this to find out the truth
The Hem Of Jesus’s Garment, An Interactive Devotional, Day OneRemember the woman who touched the hem of My garment as she pressed into the crowd, going against the grain of society to receive what she needed? I liken this to the day you heard Me calling your name.
Well was He, because nearly all of Christendom believes He did look like that. All the images, icons and pictures, even from childhood, that I have ever seen, have always portrayed Him in this way, i.e. in this long haired, puny, weak, ineffectual limp wristed likeness. In some images they even give Him a silly little goatee beard – why? To let you know they didn’t even think He was man enough to grow a full beard. You don’t believe me?
The Universal and Personal Aspect of GodThere are two aspects of God, the universal and the personal aspect. Most people know a lot about one aspect but little of the other. The universal aspect of God is the Universal Power we can use at will. The personal aspect of God is the Person of God moving as He Wills.
Charge it UpCharge it Up! Charging ourselves up is the call of the Now. How you may ask? Charge it all up from inside. Your body battery is what I am talking about. Let us all charge up our body batteries from the Life Force within us. Our life force is our God, Universal Self or Higher Self. Just so available for us to Renew, Revive and Regenerate us from the inside.
The Benefits of HumilityTrue humility means to live without a sense of ego. When we are humble we get joy through serving others and giving joy to others. True humility means we have a sense of oneness with others- when we are humble we can get joy from others achievements.
There’s Nothing Like the Real ThingWe are all familiar with the concept of a model. A model represents an object that is real, but on a smaller scale. It is built with the proper proportions just downsized for easier accommodations. There are also “prototypes”. These are models of things that are to be copied when assembling the real thing. A prototype is a pattern made to ensure something will work before finalization. And there is also an “antitype”. This is a foreshadowing of something to come, it’s not the real thing. Models, prototypes and anitypes are all just examples of the real thing or lead up to it. There’s nothing like the real thing and God was showing the people His master plan when He gave them the tabernacle in the wilderness.
Yama And NiyamaI think nothing about yoga could be more sadly misunderstood than the principles of Yama and Niyama. As you may already know, according to an ancient and widely accepted system set down by the yogi Pantanjali, there are 8 “limbs” (astanga) of yoga, which are arranged in an order suggesting that they might be steps towards the ultimate goal of union with God.
