Destiny plays a big part in your life. When the time is right, your life’s purpose gets revealed to you. You awaken to your real self, and your journey into enlightenment begins, from living as a human you start living as a being.

Why bother to learn, study, or work with the Tarot? Why focus on such a nebulous subject while others are scratching for satisfaction from whatever material goods they can get their hands on? Each time this unavoidable question crosses my mind, I’m inevitable and inexorably brought back to the fact that there isn’t much that’s more important than helping to shift the range, scope, and methods of consciousness.

In our view, spiritual power is to be used only for good. The moment you try to control or manipulate another person, you step over the line and incur negative karma.

In Body Building Part I we saw what the church does as the Body of Christ-it holds its confession, serves and works, and manifests spiritual gifts. But as important as what the church does as the Body of Christ is how the church does what it does. Paul moves on in his discourse in I Corinthians 12 to illustrate how the Body of Christ does what it does.

In the world as it is currently, there is great turmoil between various belief systems: atheism, various religious groupings and spirituality. Spirituality should not be confused with spiritualism, which has a strong, if even an unconventional, religious bias. There is a perceived conflict between religion and spirituality, although this is more on the part of religionists, whatever the creed.

One of the questions I keep hearing in my workshops is, “how do I live a happy life and enjoy the journey and what does it mean?” Living a happy life is something we all want, yet so few of us are able to live happily continuously. During the journey of our life when we look at other people and they smile, we tend to believe that they are happy because they smile.

During the journey of life we often have experiences when someone hurts us verbally, or we encounter negative experiences which we are unable to process. These negative experiences create negative emotions within us and resides with us during the journey of our lives. Often they cause us suffering and we feel stuck.

What is Faith and why is it important to develop? Faith is “to trust,” to trust in the unknown, to trust in the unexplainable, to trust in that which cannot be seen, to trust in life itself. The ability to allow things to happen with the belief that all things will work out well, to allow nature to go its own course.

Spirituality is a big word but an easy practice if you take small steps. Often people are very busy in their day-to-day work that they forget the time to nurture their inner self and be or become more spiritual. Here are 3 ways you can enrich your spiritual self:

Shamanism is a way of perceiving and understanding the world through expanded awareness. Shamanism teaches how we can quiet our minds and expand our awareness to access the spiritual world for guidance, answers and healing. Anyone can use basic shamanic wisdom and practices to enhance everyday life and experience spiritual growth.

Recently I changed my thought to, “You are God in a body.” This feels a little different. For me this is an acknowledgment of our physicality and at the same time the essence of a supreme being, the energy of The Energy within. Suppose that you and I are God in a body? If this is true, why are we living as we do?

Did God really create the world the way He said He did? Genesis 1:1 reads: In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. In the Hebrew it is Bereshith bara Elohim eth hashshamayim veeth haarets. But what does this mean and how does the biblical account differ from other philosophies and beliefs?
