It’s not every day a little person is asked or led by the Holy Spirit to write a personal letter to a nation’s leader and ask for a response. In the last two weeks the Spirit put in my spirit that I would soon be a writing a prophetic message to my Prime Minister. Let me share some of the emotions that go through my heart as I approach the task and the afterward feelings of fear of man and the repercussions that could come from sending it on me as a person with a history of mental illness and a little of the message that was in this private letter. There will be many people on earth who’ll argue that King Solomon has been superseded by wiser men since the time he left. There exists many great men in history, but Solomon was no philosopher, his proverbs stand as scripture and have never been proven wrong. If a person could simply obey the advice in the proverbs their life would be totally different. With the exception of the first proverb, let me take apart a number of Solomon’s proverbs on giving to the poor and others that support it. Serving God is fun. Surrender your life to Jesus and have fun while you get the job done. Go into all the world and preach the gospel. The Holy Spirit will go with you and work through you! Only believe and you will see the glory of God (John 11:40).

What would you prefer? The approval of religious people or the inner affirmation of heaven by the Holy Spirit? Religious people think and reason. The Holy Spirit flows, enables you to feel, and gives you the force of faith to impact your world.

I love France! Jesus moved powerfully throughout the churches where I ministered. The Holy Spirit confirmed God’s Word with power and revealed to the French the risen Christ in glory.

When you think of God singing over you what picture do you have in your head? Most of us visualize a kind and gentle God who gently sings an old hymn from the hymnal and looks lovingly upon us. Me? I see the NFL or NBA Fan Cam with God in the stands or on the sidelines yelling and screaming and wearing my team’s hat and blowing a huge horn and holding up a sign that says “YOU CAN DO IT, SON!”

Does Jesus sing you songs? Are there love songs on the radio that you can hear Jesus singing the lyrics to you? Many people can relate to a lover singing to them. Many people listen to Christian music, but can you hear Jesus singing to your spirit in the lyrics of a normal song and forever more that song becomes a “special” song that Jesus sings to you on a night when He wants to cheer you up? Here is one of “our” songs and what I think of it.

Do you have a desire to be rich? There is a right way and right reason for wanting to be rich. Solomon told his son to look to the ant for instruction.

The right mental attitude is essential for success. The perfect model of a winning attitude is the attitude of Jesus Christ.

I have spent my whole life trying to be right. Not really trying to be saved, but actually being right, according to everybody I know standards or, the way I was taught to believe. As important as it is to be right with God, is to stay right with God. What I believe and been taught has little to do with that. Nickodiemus ask Jesus what I must do to be saved, his reply was very simple, and he said “YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN.” I spent most of my life unsaved, because I could not believe I could live up to all what I had been taught, for I was in bondage up to my neck, I was truly in a horrible pit. And wound up with a nervous breakdown at the age of 35.

My thought on the word control is a very serious subject to me. We live in a controlled world. People call it the land of the free, and we do have more freedom then most, but I believe it is a controlled freedom. We are controlled by a social security number. We have to report all our earning and pay taxes on all we earn. In order to buy on the credit we have to give our life’s history. In order to get a job we have to give our life history. Right before our very eyes we can see the beast coming. We are soon going to buy and sell by a number, and then take the mark of the beast to buy and sell.
