Having heard several different ideas of the unpardonable sin I decided to write on an obvious and extreme end of this subject. I rather felt that by working from this direction that any difficulties might become clear.

I don’t believe in love at first sight – there is no such thing. What you’re actually feeling is lust at first sight. The strong desire you feel for someone that you just met shows itself in the form of lust. If the person you desire is married or other wise unavailable to you in some way then it turns into lustful covetous and greedy desire.

All things have their starting point. For humans, things begin from the heart. The very thought of man will make an angel or a devil out of them. Emptiness is not an easy word to understand and is often talked about by the cultivating man. What is actually emptiness?

There is a vast difference between being “happy” and finding a genuine inner peace that “passes all understanding” to quote the book. Happiness is often confused for inner peace. The two are not the same. One can be having a miserable experience and still be at the core “at peace.” You can be suffering through the loss of a loved one, career, belief or be in a health crisis an still have an inner peace. When you meet these unusual people, you remember them.

Apathists believe all or no religions. With Einstein they believe that science is about what is, and that religion is about what ought to be. The two do not interesect. But the soul of anything by dictionary definition is its essence. We all have an essence that is more than mind and body. It is received from nature and nurture and is passed on by what we do, say, or write. Our souls live after we have turned to dust.

There is a technique for everything, including prayers. Although emanating from your heart and soul, prayers can be refined to produce better results through the following suggestions on how to verbalize your prayer requests. Try them, and realize the power of YOUR prayers.

The human instinct is the first thought and it is pure and the nature is not to kill and divine. The second thought is human nature, it can be good or bad. Instinct is also the conscience, the moral sense of right and wrong. When the conscience is clear, it means that nothing wrong was done.

What is it that we seek within? How do we seek? What will we find there? Is there a road map? Fortunately, there are several such maps, as you’ll see.

Bitterness creates Buddhahood. The higher one climbs, the higher one falls. Happiness is illusive and temporary and it can disappear in a flash of light. Real happiness is not defined in terms of wealth, honor or fame. The richest man has his own sorrows. Happiness is one full of wisdom and virtues.

Millions in Fundamentalist and Evangelical Churches have grown up with the idea that the return of Jesus, a return which will fix everything that is wrong with everything and reward the true saints, is always imminent. We read the above scriptures as if they were written for us, as it is we who are finally the ones “upon whom the end of the age has come.” Unlike everyone before us, we really really are the ones who will see it and be changed, avoiding the reality of physical death.

Today I received my DNA ancestral profile back from the National Geographic Genome Project. Six weeks ago I did a simple mouth swab for DNA and sent it to the project. I have good news and bad news. My Y chromosome results identify me as a member of halo group R1b, a lineage defined by a genetic marker called M343. This halo group is the final destination of a genetic journey that began some 60,000 years ago with the ancient y chromosome marker called 168 originating in Eastern Africa.
