This particular article is written and designed for those of us who have been chosen for difficult assignments and cannot fully see or understand how the vision will be fulfilled, nor do we know when the “cards” will play out! On top of that, we question why we (with our inabilities and faults) were chosen for this assignment.

Serving anyone but ourselves is tough enough…But serving a demanding master in a Recession where there are so many assignments of comfort to be allocated is even tougher. This article talks about serving God when you feel offended or unappreciated.

Loving people around us is a compulsory act that we Christians must imbibe or emulate. It is the command of God to love our neighbour as ourselves. This could be found in several books of the bible. As Jesus loved us; came and died for us; we are also enjoined to love our neighbours, friends and even our enemies in the same manner. To be complete in Him, we must display this pure hearted love towards all. We have to walk in love, do everything in love and correct one another with love.

How many different diets or exercise programs have you ‘tried’ to follow in the past? How many times have you received advice from different people about what is working so amazingly for them only to ‘try’ it and get zero results. As believers, God invites us to stop ‘trying’ and start trusting (Proverbs 3:5). He wants us to trust in His almighty power, in His never-ending grace, and His ability handle every single circumstance, situation and stronghold that the enemy will try to throw at us. He will even help us subdue our own flesh! But how do we do this? He wants us to follow His son Jesus.

Prayer may be oral or mental, occasional or constant, ejaculatory or formal. Christians do pray to beseech the Lord and make supplication to Him. As children of God, wanting to be complete in Him, we must learn how to pray for oneself, the nation ad other people.

This should strike a chord with everyone, for none of us can help being slightly detached from ourselves – It’s an unfortunate by-product of being human. We do have senses, a mind, and the emotions after all. It appears we ourselves get in our own way – We’re barriers to the best views of the world available.
