When you are dreaming of your ideal situation, see if you can get all of your senses into the scene. Can you smell the room or environment? Can you hear people talking?

Everyday is a new experience. Some mornings as we awake the sun is shining, birds are chirping, there is a nice cool breeze blowing through the trees. Yet there are other mornings, like that of today, when you are literally woke up by the sounds of crashing thunder, the sky is lit up with lightning, and the rain is pouring down.

We all must grow adept at taking our risks – those things that the moral courage of God is infusing within our consciences and our conscious thought… those things that our wise advisors are confirming. Spiritual risks of faith are good.

I send a message for prayer. I called on you prayer, but you did not respond.

Whether we know it or not every human has the right to be happy here on this earth. Everyone has the right to live a blissful life without all the miseries which seem to abound on our planet. So why do so many people suffer. If it is natural to be happy and in a state of bliss why is there so much suffering?

Unless we work as a priest or anyone connected to religion then our day to day jobs very rarely have a mention of our faith. It is a taboo to mention faith and even worse to mention Christianity. This pressure makes us believe that we have to leave this part of us at home before we adorn the attire of our work place.

Endure hardship with us like a good soldier of Christ Jesus. No one serving as a soldier gets involved in civilian affairs – he wants to please his commanding officer. ~2 Timothy 2:3-4 (NIV).

In traffic, you have a vehicle rear-end you, and whilst it comes as quite a jolt, upon closer inspection there’s very little damage – in fact, it’s hardly noticeable; just a few scratches or perhaps a minuscule crease in the bumper. It is then up to you. You have the particulars of the person who hit you and you think over the remainder of the day what to do. You decide to leave it…

Your spirit and your ego controls so much of what goes on in your life that it is important you understand how they function and when to recognize which of them is driving your actions. First spirit is usually good.

Have you ever wondered why life seems to come right back at you in an instant? By that I mean that if you put out negative energy such as road rage, or yelling at someone or having an altercation with you children or anyone, do you notice how that negativity comes back to you in another form?

Betrayal and repentance go hand in hand because there won’t be any need to repent without betrayal. However betrayal in this case is directly related to the betrayal of our Lord and none of us can say that we are free of this. If Peter could deny our Lord thrice then we must know that none of us can avoid this. The thing to note here is the type of betrayal that we commit and how we can repent for it.
