When you cast a magic spell, you obviously want the results to happen quickly, and last for a long time. However, usually magic will last for a few weeks, then gradually fade.

Living in the Power of Now enables you to activate the power that’s available to you now. Power does not come to you for a past event. Neither does it come to you for something you’re going to do in the future.

God has been dealing with me of late about the woman with the issue of blood (Mark 5:25, Lev. 15:19 & Matt 14:34-36). I used these scriptures to start looking at her issues.

Recently, I was thinking about forgiveness. I’ve come to understand several important things surrounding this issue. First, forgiveness starts within. It starts with individuals making the choice to be free from the bondage that accompanies unforgiveness.

In many evangelical circles, and certainly amongst most fundamentalists, the world ‘liberal’ carries with it a definite emotional and theological charge. Liberals are seen as threatening the Faith and undermining true Christian theology. Liberals have a nefarious agenda; they are wolves in sheep’s clothing, and so on.

I look at what luck means in our lives. Is it something we have control over and can create through positive thinking or hard work? Is it something that just happens to us?

We pray — in one form or another — for something that we think is either connected to what we want or to something that’s greater than the condition we perceive as punishing us. But what we don’t yet understand is that within these prayers, whatever form they may take, we’re praying for something that we don’t understand, and this is why life continues to bring us the very things we say we don’t want.
