You may have heard that Jesus died to set you free. Free from the eternal consequences of sin. Sure, you are forgiven, but are you really free? Have you traded one form of bondage for another? Joy is much greater than happiness. Happiness comes from happenings. When all is going well, we are happy. When all the bills are paid and we have money left over, and to spare, we are happy. When everything around us is in order, we are happy. But joy is more powerful than happiness, because it does not need everything in place in order to be glad. Joy is a spiritual force. It is a product of the human spirit, in tune and connected to the Spirit of God. Joy comes from God, and out of our relationship and fellowship with Him. When we are walking closely with Him, it does not matter how things appear, it does not matter how much money we have or don’t have, it does not matter how the world may be full of chaos and confusion, we have gladness, yes, joy unspeakable, and full of glory.

Do you know what the purpose to your life is? Do you sometimes wonder what the point of it all is? I think most of us feel this way at some time in our life, but with things changing so rapidly it can all feel a little over whelming and as if life is catching up with us!

My mother died suddenly October 20, 1987, at the age of 67 from a heart attack. Earlier that year she had told me about health problems she had experienced, and I told her that I believed she had suffered a heart attack and needed to see a medical doctor.

The success or failure of daily devotional in one’s life solely depends on him. Design and fashion out a good time table coupled with a business minded attitude for a follow up and you will never regret you did. If we can spare time for other less important things as it were, how much more should we hunger to have a moment with God on a daily basis.

Why does the world feel so horrible and everything is such a struggle? Are we over sensitive? Are you alone with that feeling?

The Bible says that a fool says in his heart that there is no God! The cross is foolish to those who perish because they think they are wiser than God. There are millions of people today who think they are wiser and more knowledgeable than God.
