“God” is not a name it is a title. God has many Names and Titles (depending on how He manifests and interacts with us on this level), but the knowledge of the Personal Name of the ONE GOD is the greatest knowledge that you can possess, because This Name is The Key that reveals your True Identity!

This is eternal life! What is life? What is a full life? What is the good life? Well, it is certainly not what the Psalmist saw as he looked around, and saw the corruption and wickedness and violence and callousness. Real life, a full life, the best life, is the consequence of knowing God the Father and Jesus Christ. This is another quality which makes Christianity exclusive. This is not just one religion among many. This is how Jesus begins His prayer on His last night on earth. Do you think that this is worth serious study and profound consideration?

Jesus, this is Your last night on earth. Why do You not go to the pools where the sick are lying, and to the leprosy centres in Jerusalem, or to the soup kitchens where people are so hungry, and where people are imprisoned by drink and drugs? He gives Himself to prayer! Jesus Christ on His last and final night on earth goes to prayer and He prays for the men He has called. Preaching and teaching is not enough. Miracles are not enough. All this spiritual work must be supported spiritually by prayer and with prayer. One of the greatest and hardest things we can do is pray those men and women of God who are serving Him in the world. Pray that they will be faithful, sensitive, patient, loving, powerful, obedient, and pray whatever God places on your heart.

Jesus has done what He came to do. The Cross has begun. He set His face to go to Jerusalem. He did not give in.

As I write this, a small carved figure smiles at me. A happy Buddha, this little round man made of resin beams joy at me with all his worldly belongings in a sack slung on a stick over his shoulder.

Our entire lives appear to be built on relationships, including relationships with our marriage partners, our children, those we work with, and the many, many people we interact with on a daily basis. Obviously, if we don’t do well in our relationships, our lives can end up being pretty miserable.

Equal treatment under the law is a foundational precept of the United States provided in the Constitution for all citizens. There has been perpetrated upon the United States a myth about what equal rights means. Have we been deceived or have we been taught a flawed message for decades? Truths found in the Bible can get us back on track.

The greatest benefits in life come without fanfare and spotlights, and the loveliest gifts of character are always unconscious. Why is there such poverty of inspiration in the twenty-first century? Did our sense of adventure follow the hula hoop into the dustbin of what childhood used to be? What happens when the electronics die?

In this chaotic world, swirling with dark energies, we can commune with Creator in a secret, sacred place anytime, anywhere. We each have within us a beautiful, silent temple of peace, filled with loving energy.

Because many other beliefs encourage meditation, some concerned Christians worry that meditation may not be right for them. But meditation, with effects both spiritual and physical, is one of God’s gifts for our lives. Meditation is physically and emotionally healing, and a powerful way to open our hearts to intimate relatedness with God.
