We All Live on This Earth Together
I remember listening to one of our lunar astronauts talking about his experience of traveling to the moon. He mentioned that viewing the earth from outer space really had a significant impact on how he viewed his existence on earth. Without man-made borders, names, labels, languages, religions, nations, and all the other ingenious methods we have created to categorize and separate ourselves from one another – there was a drastic change of perception and realization that this lovely blue planet is home for all of us humans.
Is the Current Financial Crisis a Collectively Manifested Spiritual Phenomenon?Because this world is illusory, it rests on a foundation of sand. This foundation has shown signs of cracks for a number of years, but now we are at the beginning where the whole structure will be coming down. The financial panic has only just begun, and it will spread in to everything, like a spark in an overgrown forest.

The Principle of AttachmentThe principle of attachment is often thought to be simply a factor of relationship. Our lives are usually defined by our relationship to others and the objects and other factors of our environment. These are our friends, loved ones, family, our possessions, our position, and reputation. Fear of loss of these is often thought to be what causes the stress and discontent in our lives. Another cause of stress and discontentment might be a failure to acquire what is desired, whether it be another being in relationship, a position we need to achieve, or an object we need or want to acquire. While these are important factors to the understanding of attachment, the principle of attachment and its definition goes a bit deeper.
The Practical Application of the Principle of KarmaFor a moment let’s assume that there is no moderator, no god as deity, or universal entity, or process that keeps track of how an individual behaves. What do we have then? How then would this process operate in each individual life? The truth of Karma is that it is related to the individual’s perception. And that perception is related to the way that individual behaves. In the spiritual concept of emptiness there are no violent expressions, no loving expressions, there is only expression – all is empty of meaning until we impose a meaning on it. When one behaves in what they perceive as a violent manner, their perception of the outside world follows and becomes violent as well. That sheds new light on the understanding of sowing and reaping. If one is harsh and brutal toward others they will interpret behavior toward them to be harsh and brutal as well.

Gunmen who kill multiple victims or people who are addicted to drugs, alcohol or gambling, are under the control of the one superior force, the great creative spirit of the universe. But this is a dramatic statement as most people believe they are in full control of their lives. This article sets out to prove otherwise.
Darkness and Light Are Mutually ExclusiveHave you ever wondered what causes some people to try to dominate others? What would motivate a person to want to be the most powerful person in the world?
The Principle of EmptinessEmptiness is a spiritual concept that is best defined by the Tao Te Ching. The true nature of the cosmos is emptiness, the universe is almost 100% empty space. The reason we sense the material world as solid is that the solid particles are moving so fast we sense them in millions of places as if at once. An empty mind is in a state of meditation, an empty mind can receive insight which is always fresh and present oriented. Communicated insight becomes old and stale and contributes to the accumulation of knowledge rather than the depth of understanding.
