I first saw Kinesiology at Naropa Institute in Boulder Colorado long before I was saved. I saw and was tested on toleration of an apple. As my arm went down while testing, I had a funny feeling, but I knew that as a child I never really liked or did that well on apples. I really dismissed this later when I became a Christian as just some more New Age junk, and denounced it along with all the other New Age religious things I had opened myself up to. I continued in the dietetics profession as a Registered Dietitian at clinics and hospitals, and didn’t give it another thought until years later, as my own health was failing, and traditional medicine was no help.

Throughout the ages India has been the home of numerous Spiritual Masters and Saints. They have each offered a unique message and inspirational example of how we might aspire to a more illumining life. These saints have shared their wisdom and light in a way to suit the needs of the age and circumstances. However at heart they share a common message which is to “Know Thyself”. This is the supreme goal of yoga and spirituality; to know and realise our sense of divine consciousness.

The church has been given the largest assignment in the history of mankind, which is to preach the gospel in all the world, to feed the poor, to heal the sick and to comfort the broken hearted, and to build up the poverty stricken places of all the earth. This is an impossible mission with out the wealth to do it. But thank God Almighty, he has provided a way to get the finances to the church. It has been provided for in the covenant that he established with Abraham. Then why are churches still broke?

Churches are still broke is because they do not receive the prophetic word of the modern day prophets concerning finances. These men are not just preaching messages about finances, they are messengers of wealth that God sends to churches to impart a financial anointing on the churches and the people in the churches.

There are two specific areas that I feel many people need help from God in developing that, if not developed, will prevent them from experiencing God’s Promised Land that He wants us to walk in.

When we get hard pressed and we’ve got certain doom coming at us from one direction and a stone wall coming from the other, it makes us scream out in desperation and despair, “WHY GOD?!” The most important thing that we can do in our trials is have the right perspective. Without the right perspective we won’t see our trials as opportunities to grow and develop but just bad luck.

Suffering… it drives some people to divorce, depression, and substance dependency. Nevertheless; through the word of God, we have a great a cloud of witnesses that testify of the power of God to help us endure and make sense of our suffering. “And the Lord restored Job’s losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.” Job 42:10

It’s difficult when you’re making the transition from being a self-reliant, independent person who has learned to take care of themselves to now begin learning to trust and depend on a God you can’t see, Who’s supposed to provide for your very present, physical needs.
