The chapters 40-66 of Isaiah are known as the ‘book of comfort.’ Quite frankly life presents its shrieking challenges and during these times the particular verses above (and others) can bring so much spiritual relief. God is, after all, good all the time.

Many academics, scientists and philosophers do not accept consciousness as there is nothing organic to conclude. They consider that the functions of the mind are all at the center of the physical body. Many other people perceive and accept as by faith.

A few days ago, in a “spiritual” newsletter I receive to keep up on “developments in the higher realms,” a channeled message stated that from now on, messages that are channeled will be more consistent and corroborate with one another. I have noticed this trend, and see that many messages stress the importance of meditation and reconnecting to your higher self, but I want to emphasize that it isn’t until you apply the material to real life (by integrating your higher self into your life through your daily, mundane actions) that real change occurs.

According to Webster, “sin” is a transgression (or violation) of the law of God. It is also described as a vitiated state of human nature in which the self is estranged from God. This can manifest in different forms – lying, cheating, stealing, hurting, etc.

Be reminded again that the only survivor of a shipwreck was he who washed up on a small, uninhabited island. He prayed fervently for God to rescue him and everyday he scanned the horizon for help, but none seemed forthcoming.

Blessed are those who are saturated with much genuine love for God, which is one for all and continue to sing the spiritual consciousness in it.

This Bible says that a doubtful mind (or double-minded) is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind (James 1:6 TLB). Yesterday, you heard him shouting, ‘I am rich!’ and today when things aren’t as good you’ll hear him say, ‘I am so broke.’ In other words, he’s full of ‘double talk.’ He’s double-minded.
