A General Look at Alchemy Part 2

Physical Alchemy Transmutation of one substance into another such as base metals into gold, water into wine, etc., is the physical aspect of alchemy. It is often referred to as the “Greater Circulation.” Much charlatanry and quackery became involved with this aspect and many people were cheated by rascals who claimed that they had in their possession the Philosopher’s Stone that could effect a transmutation of base metals into gold. Human greed knows no bounds; the poor wishes to be wealthy, the rich aims to be wealthier, and with all their efforts, whether successful or not, sorrow and suffering is the karmic result.

A General Look at Alchemy Part 1

Alchemy’s Origin Alchemy, according to esoteric writers, is said to be the invention of an ancient Egyptian sage called Hermes Trismegistus. The “Father of Alchemy” lived in an unknown age of Egyptian history, though he is thought by some Rosicrucian schools to have lived during the time of Moses and the Exodus of the Israelites. If true, being an Initiate of the mysteries of Isis and Osiris, Moses must have been tutored by Hermes himself, which later enabled him to carry out his mission and to realize his I AM Presence symbolised by the burning bush. The various precepts and the Ten Commandments of the Lord of Hosts revealed to the Israelites by Moses are the first alchemical steps of purification and putrefaction. Further steps were later added to the Mosaic revelation by the Nazarene Master. Indeed, the Christ declared that he came not to abolish the previous revelation, but to fulfill it.

A Body Is Prepared For Me

God shewed signs and wonders in the land of Egypt and in the Red Sea, and in the wilderness that men should fear Him. Nothing has changed in this generation. He expects to do signs and wonders at the hands of his disciples that men reverence Him. The earthly ministry of Jesus before He went to the cross is our example of what The Father expects and requires of His disciples unto all generations.

A General Look at Alchemy Part 4

Steps in Alchemy Every spiritual system has its steps or phases of development. The Qabalist has his guide in the fruits and the paths of the “Tree of Life.” Mahayana Buddhism teaches its adherents the various “bhumis,” or “grounds” that has to be passed; other traditions such as Sufism and Yoga similarly have designated the rungs of the spiritual ladder. The 33 degrees of Freemasonry has its prototype in the vetebrae of the human spine. Kundalini is supposed to climb 33 rungs before she is crowned in the sahasrara chakra. Conclusion…

Prophets

I am writing this, because apparently people are searching for truth. They are writing articles to either affirm their belief and to show this belief to others, or they are writing articles to cast doubts on the belief of others and convince others the writers’ ideas are right. Search your heart to find what is true.

How We Can Be Sure That We Are in the Last Hour – 2 Timothy 3:1-5 – Part 2

We are in the last days and Paul mentions to Timothy the sins that will be evident in the last days. We need to look at our lives in the light of these sins and let the Holy Spirit do a thorough cleaning and convict us of our error. Jesus is calling a pure bride and we need to repent and wash ourselves. In this sermon series I will be looking at 2 Timothy 3:1-5 in as many parts as it takes and using my own life as an example.

How We Can Be Sure That We Are in the Last Hour – 2 Timothy 3:1-5 – Part 4

So far we have covered the truth that Paul was talking of in my own life and the life of people that are in our churches. We have covered in three articles the problems listed in the verse as For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving. Today I want to very briefly touch on the rest and spend a little time on the form of godliness that denies the power of God.

Renewing Your Mind Pt. 2

God’s thoughts are not our thoughts, neither are our ways His ways. We need to think Godly thoughts, not worldly thoughts. The way to think Godly thoughts is to purpose to spend time in the Word of God every day and to renew our mind with It. You have to get God’s Word into your spirit, so that your soul (your mind) becomes renewed to God’s will. God’s Word is His will. When you have Godly thoughts they lead to Godly actions. The reverse is also true, ungodly thoughts will lead to ungodly actions.

How We Can Be Sure That We Are in the Last Hour – 2 Timothy 3:1-5 – Part 3

Paul says that the church will be unloving in the last days and many within its ranks will not have the love that Christ talked about. How do you measure up? This is the third article in a series from 2 Timothy 3:1-5. Take the time to read the Word and let it convict you and change if you must.

Chosen for Royalty

Where can a sinful person, full of mistakes, be given royal status? In Christ! How can an imperfect person be accepted as if no wrong doing had ever been done? In the loving arms of God! All is forgiven when you are born into the family of the Almighty. This earthly life is only a preparation for the next world. Our future is determined by the choice we make between Christ and the world. Few are born into royalty on earth, but you are, when you are born again. Do not blow the chance to live in the land where you will never grow old.

Do You Dread The End Of The World?

The Bible predicts that the world as we know it will go through a shaking that it has never before experienced and will never again experience. Yes, it is a very frightening prospect but everything we see around us in the world today points more and more to that “great and terrible day” as the Bible refers to it.
