How to Integrate Your Wins

Christians love to say things like, “I am only human” when they slip and fall. We need to understand that this is simply not true; we are not “only human”, we are something “More than Human”. Why do we sell ourselves short? Because we do not understand, and therefore do not think that we are “More than Human”.

We were at the local corn fest, and had arrived just in time to hear the raffle announcer say, “Coleen Springer you have won the bike”. It was a cute little bike; I am sure Coleen would have loved it.

Welcome aboard on a spiritual journey! You may be wondering what a spiritual journey is. Well, it is the most exciting of all journeys and it is better than all other journeys combined. I hope to tell you here how you can start your spiritual journey. But first let us know what a spiritual journey is.

There are so very many aspects of our faith, and so very many things we could argue about, either positively or negatively. God never cuts us off from the knowledge of God; only we do. And we do this when we settle for our revelation of the things of God only.

My last article in this series “Onward, Christian Soldier” concluded by emphasizing the early disciples of Jesus were referred to as “Followers of the Way”. The word follow in this context means to: conform to, adhere to, comply with, obey, be guided by, be modeled after or on, observe, heed, mind, go along with, reflect, mirror, echo, imitate, cleave to. The lifestyle of Jesus’ disciples was recognizable to those around them. They were derogatorily labeled as followers of Jesus of Nazareth, for they imitated Him in all manner. This was offensive to many Jews.

Within each person God placed a yearning to be reunited with Him. This comes with the soul that He breathed into each one of us as we were being knitted together in our mother’s womb. St. Augustine mentioned this 1,600 years ago when he wrote, God has made us for Himself, and our hearts are restless until they rest in Him.”

A woman who does not know who she is firstly, as a child of God and joint-heir with Jesus Christ and secondly as God’s woman of virtue and excellence is sentenced to live a life of dissatisfaction and temporary fulfillment. A woman must discover who she is before she can effectively help, inspire, and influence others. Without purpose you aimlessly go through life finding temporary fulfillment in people and things.

A woman of excellence must first be a woman of love. We have been given God’s capacity to love. Many (women especially) make the mistake of trying to show forth love to everyone and everything when she has not first shown love to herself.

The information has stored itself in your subconscious mind/ soul, and acts itself out in your life as your perception of your reality. The problem is that the data that has been programmed into you is not the data that causes abundant blessings in each area of your life. Therefore, you have been programmed with some information that is negative or flawed and not based on spiritual truth.

Then there is the soul. Not everything has a soul. The soul is placed above, and is independent of all infirmities of the body. For example, a sick person showing signs of weakness is due to the hindrances that interpose themselves between his soul and his body.

Find out what religion really means. You will be surprised!

God did not put us on the Earth just so we could make it through life in relative comfort and then go on to Heaven. We all have a specific purpose here which as a collective, I believe will bring about God’s Will for mankind.
