We cannot say we love. We must do it. Love only has value from the viewpoint of the other’s viewpoint. Another person is not our neighbour; we are theirs! Love begins with us. And, so far as the Lord Jesus is concerned, best we never insist our neighbour love us. The obligation of love as an enunciation of obedience is to be the neighbour.

Why do you fear or serve God? Do you serve Him for nothing? Service is an important aspect of a believing Christian’s walk with God. The scriptures teach us to serve God, but the question is, “what is the main motive behind the service?” The true answer to this question determines how God will respond to your service and this article helps you to answer correctly.

What can be the main thing calling for your attention right now? Many things are screaming at you, seeking for your attention and you may have done so many things trying to attend to them, but they seem not to notice your effort at all. Now, you are tired, frustrated and ready for the worst to happen. The problem may actually be that you have not identified the main force calling for your attention. This article aims at helping you identify the main voice to attend to in such situations.

Saved to serve! That’s right, we were saved into the kingdom of God in order that we might serve others to the end of realising their own salvation.

Conscription has changed many lives in the manner with which it has been enforced. Where there is no say in the matter, and we are compelled to do a thing against our will, what are we to do? The choice is implied in such a way to indicate there doesn’t seem to be a choice. And this is an important differentiation we need to keep in mind in discussing the above verse.

Christian life is lived dead to our own needs so others may live having their needs met. Such a life is about trusting God wholeheartedly for the fulfilment of our needs. And God never, in the experience of mature Christians, lets us down, though we will well be disappointed a great number of times.

WHAT Jesus is about to say to his disciples is possibly so shocking to their senses that they might feel compelled to walk away as some did in John 6:60. The teaching that was still now en route was difficult to accept let alone stomach.

I have already mentioned the importance of taking care of our auras as much as we do with our personal hygiene.
