Christians are sometimes viewed as outcasts in society especially when we stay true to our calling and when we do not compromise our life standards. The adage really rings true. It is easy to be a Christian but it is very hard to live the Christian life. Those redeemed by the Lord Jesus Christ have a sovereign purpose, and it will take supernatural intervention from God for us to take hold of our special future and live out our life’s purpose – which is to glorify God in our lives.

The Lord’s servant is first and foremost avoiding “stupid” and “senseless” controversies. The intent is not a lack of resolve to address matters of knowledge, and lacks thereof, but it’s in the understanding that those arguing often argue without cause but their own winning esteem – ah, the classic false teacher re-emerges!

We cannot enjoy life without learning how to live it well – indeed to learn how to learn; that is to know what it’s really about. But, there are barriers to it. It looks unrewarding to go there – to learning. It looks like a lot of effort for not much. But, the Thankfulness Branch takes us to learning and its RICH rewards.

Three score years and ten… the time that Jesus allocates us in the bible. After that everything is a bonus. I’m not yet on the home straight but certainly approaching the final bend. What are you going to do this year to direct your future?

Cast to heaven, “success” is redefined in salacious lashings. Desire for dollars becomes virtue; quest for esteem, love; cling for popularity, friendship; longing for acquisition, wellbeing. Finally, swap dreaming for peace. Everything we ever knew is turned about face and upside down through the kaleidoscope of heaven, and never before time. Context is added to vision and rubber for the wheels striking Destiny’s road.

Hope is the ability to see a brighter future. It inspires us to to keep on making the effort, to keep on living. Yet, hope by itself, is not enough. If you really want to solve problems in your life or in your work, your hope will need some help.

The purpose of life is to learn from our mistakes; to not resent the judgments of God as meted out in the normal course of living. For, we all make mistakes. Additionally, we’re ‘judged’ for some things beyond our understanding. Life can be indiscriminate. The theology of the Fall and our brokenness can be used to explain this.

We need to be careful about looking at others from the outside only. We can’t truly know someone by what they look like. We need to get to know them and what is inside their heart.

The spirals are becoming easier to trace. One major revelation I made for myself today was tuning into Universal Mind and the divine healing energy of my focused path of attention. I found that once I began to tune into the divine, my attention grew and became more concentrated. The white ball of energy became very healing, nurturing and gentle as it traveled along its path through my brain and core.
