The book of Acts is a great place to start when studying early Christianity. Acts depicts about the first thirty years of the church and provides details on how those first Christians and those who taught early Christianity lived their lives.

Since I easily fit into this group at the time, I couldn’t understand why people didn’t understand my faith and relationship with Jesus.

As you grow up you are rewarded by attention, affection or other tokens of appreciation when you do something good. You are denied or punished in some way when you do something that is considered bad. You also experience the withdrawal of affection when your parents or others are angry with you.

The Spirit of God leads us to prayer and to his written word in order to develop us spiritually. There is one more thing that he uses to finalize, so to speak, his work of spiritual development in us. And this is free and full Christian service. What do we mean by free and full Christian service?

Don’t be overtaken by the challenges or situations around your life. You have the ability to change them. Don’t let it take you by surprise either, it came your way because you have the power to create the atmosphere of your day. You can make it good or bad.

I have always wondered that if God had a house, how such a house would look like. Surely, a house to contain Him must be huge, majestically bright, and full of splendour. One actually does find the phrase, House of God, in the Bible. It is hidden in the word Bethel, which is found sixty times in the Bible, all of it in the OT.

Mark Twain once said that he wasn’t interested in going to heaven. After all how could it be heaven if he couldn’t do the things that were fun to him here on earth? Exactly. The same sentiment is found in all of us whether we are aware of it or not.

“Just like Divine Mind,” I thought. Sometimes I can “see” It and other times I can’t. But, just as I can feel the breeze as the evidence of a fan working even when I can’t see the blades, so I can feel the evidence of Divine Mind working. Divine Mind is always actively present, just like the fan’s breeze; it’s just that sometimes I forget to notice.

It is often asked, “How do I manifest my reality in a positive way?” Again, the right attitude and supplying strength to one’s faith, not your fears is the only way. When an individual concentrates on his or her fears, guess what?
