Some people had never heard of Gnosticism prior to “The Da Vinci code”. In fact, the concept might still just be the people who believe that Jesus had children. There is a lot more to Gnosticism which is overlooked by the interest on the main topics of the movie. One of them is their view on reincarnation.

Time in life is generally abundant yet we lose our grip on it so ironically in our grasping of it a.k.a. “busyness.” Like the concept of happiness, the moment we grab time is the moment we lose it. We might habitually give thanks in this life–though I’ve not seen many like this and I certainly can’t testify to align one hundred percent. But one thing we often do not think much about is thanking God when we actually meet him–at the end of our physical lives in Glory.

Perhaps the ancient scalds who recorded it recognized its completeness. We can only speculate.

Let me ask you a simple question: Can you decipher the difference between joy and happiness in your daily life? I think that many Christians today do not see the crucial difference between the two.
