We are living in interesting times. Everything is changing, including the ways we think about life and death. Furthermore, as baby boomers move into our middle years, we are having to face issues around transition that we are not always prepared for.

I have tried to condense valid inner truths into words and that are insufficient to convey the true meaning behind illness. You will surely wonder if what I say is true, then why isn’t everybody healthy, wealthy and wise? I have told you that the concept is rather simple, but the difficulty lies in the doing.

Many people dream about treasure hunting. Folks love the idea of finding something of great value and having it change their life for the better. We love the idea of going from a tough situation to one of comfort and ease.

Not too long ago I was attending a health and wealth seminar for a company that I worked with. There were around 10-15 speakers who had come from all over the United States and the UK to speak on a subject that they had studied for many years. One of the speakers was a Christian minister and when he was asked where Cain got his wife, he shook his head and made a statement to the effect that he didn’t know.

Today is Saturday, October the fourth, in the Autumn of the year of our Lord two thousand and eight. It is the afternoon of another day complete with made-to-order weather, radiant flowers, and trees that from drought and change of season are making themselves available to any eye that would take pause and notice. Today presents itself to me as another opportunity to contemplate the things that are part of the thing that reminds me to appreciate all the good that exists in my life.

You might be surprised by the person that believes in your dreams the most. It would be good to have them on your side if you want to achieve them.

I’ve heard many people for many years talk about the Holy Spirit as a dove. We can see the symbol of the dove everywhere to signify peace and love. Peace and love are fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22). The dove is a lovely symbol, but that is all it is: a symbol of the Holy Spirit, not the Spirit.

It is in the spirit of ending conflict that I write of my thoughts today. This is an effort to spark conversation about forgiveness and how it alone can end all suffering.

Most people have the need to understand why we are here, what our purpose is, and how we got here. This is something science has yet to explain. People choose their own explanations which are called beliefs. True beliefs exist only with the individual who chooses them, right? No one cares to be told what they should or should not believe. Beliefs are personal. There is no such thing as a religious truth, only personal beliefs without scientific backing.

These assume that you will be practicing outside. Although the Pagans have more “sacred coffee tables” than oak groves, and we practice where we can, when we can, I feel it is essential to the spirit of Nature reverence to actually be out in nature to adore it. So, this article is dedicated to the hairy mountain man that lives within every arm chair wizard.

I have often encountered people who question the purpose of life, especially following a sad loss in their lives. As a spiritual person I too have questioned our purpose and the existence of God and why bad things happen. And as everyone must, I have come to many of my own conclusions based on my personal experiences, and sometimes the experiences of others.
