According to spiritual science, a human being is like a house. He/she has many invisible inhabitants or lodgers. These entities, bring all kinds of gifts, virtues or even bad vibes.

We have two bird feeders that we bring in at night because although they are technically critter proof, there is nothing that can stop a raccoon that has all night to skillfully pick out the seeds one at a time. In the morning, if I forget to put them out as soon as dawn breaks, the birds remind me. Those birds like the nuthatch, chickadee, and finches that prefer the seed feeder, sit patiently on the rod that holds the feeder waiting for me to see them.

Spectacularly basic is this psalm in proclaiming the LORD is God – the only God. And it only needs five quite simply constructed verses to say it.

You are the only one who knows how so driven by the need to accomplish something, go somewhere, do something, ‘be’ somebody, get ahead, you are. And, yet all the while you tend to forget you are running on a prefabricated automotive pilot of deeply ingrained conditioned “habit” without relent or recourse.

I had a dream the other day it was a strange dream and surprisingly I remembered the dream when I woke up. It was a creature with a feminine body. The face was fuzzy, but I could tell it was beautiful. The body was naked and sexually arousing.

Many people feel condemned (or they condemn themselves) for having or holding secrets. They might feel guilty or ashamed for thinking or feeling certain things, never understanding that it’s often the enemy behind it.

Our presence in life is marked by two fundamental, irreplaceable factors: Existence and Consciousness. Our spirit/soul is that which exists. Our consciousness is that which allows us to be aware that we exist. Life requires both. Life’s purpose, at its most basic, is the maintenance, nurturing, and growth of our existence and consciousness. Lack of attention to this purpose will cause atrophy and perhaps eventual loss.

God is not looking for observance of some religious duty or devotion. He is not looking for adherence to rules or rituals. He is not looking for animal sacrifice or faithful attendance each Sunday. He is not expecting us to be good little boys and girls. He knows that we are going to make mistakes, make poor decisions, but God is after our heart, a humble and repentant heart.

He who obeys the laws of God will prosper in all things. Even when things are not going well, obedience always produces positive results.

Most times when we go before God and put our requests before him we are truly asking for our hearts desires. These are mostly physical and attainable within the world. The proof that this is the case lies in the fact that, we often return to God to ask for more of these physical desires. This is a thirst for water. A thirst for life is a spiritual desire and this is everlasting. What we get from God in this case stays with us for eternity.

God says “be still and know that I am God;” however, God wants us also to take action. There is a central theme in the Bible. One unique skill that His followers all have in common. Yes, they have a variety of talents. His followers are very diverse.
