Change is a mythological journey, where we hear the call; go with uncertainty into unknown dangers, until we finally find our way home. Once you have stepped on the path of transformation, you are well on your way to a new experience. If you deny your own growth, you will kill the light within you; the golden light of love, peace, and knowingness. You must stay on the path of illumination.

My Bible it old. I’ve had it for over 37 years! I thought of getting a new Bible but I can’t part with it because this Bible is part of me. The pages are filled with markings and writings and spiritual thoughts. Some of the pages are dog-eared. It has given me 37 years of comfort, guidance and inspiration. Even though my Bible is old, on a daily basis, I learn new things by reading and pondering the wisdom it contains.

I don’t know about you ladies, but marriage can be very hard! LOL How do we love…How do we put on a happy face…How do we accept them the way they are…How do we respect them…

Making good decisions requires more than intellect, knowledge and education. While helpful, these do not replace the positive effect of God’s blessing, guidance and protection over our lives and the decisions we make. There are a few things we can do to position ourselves for God’s help and direction using the following principals.

In order to exercise your brain you have to use it. Let the brain games begin.

Millions of people are waiting for their ship to come in. Someday they will hit the lottery, or circumstances will turn around and then, they will be happy. They are deceiving themselves. You have to latch onto contentment and refuse to let go. It will not grab you. Happiness is for those who claim it. Life is a work in progress. You must work to buy the things you need and pursue the hobbies and things that make life worth living. You will never reach a time when you have everything wanted and circumstances are perfect. Life does not work that way. There are always challenges you must face. Those who become successful must continue to work hard to stay successful. Those at the top of their game have to work hard to stay on top.

WOW, Russ… We’ve had our 1st “Miracle” of the New Year already! Do you mean, our having 6 roman candles that Cassie left in the kitchen drawer to shoot into the clear, cold Vancouver heavens at Midnight, Rascal? I mean, Russ, having to rewrite this blog post after spending from 2:07 A.M. until 7:23 A.M. working on, but forgetting to save it before posting… We lost it all with one slip of your dyslectic keyboard fingers, Russ! How is that a miracle, Rascal? Well, Russ, we know that there was something more that our Lord wanted us to include in this 1/01/07 Rascal’s Apostle New Year’s Day 2007 Blog. Do you “See” Russ? Yes, Rascal… I “See!” It’s the hearing that I have my problems with. Yes, of course, Rascal, you are always “Right!” “You and The Holy Spirit!” (CEV) Ecclesiastes 4:12 Someone might be able to beat up one of you, but not both of you. As the saying goes, “A rope made from three strands of cord is hard to break.”

Quantum physics states that everything in the universe is pure energy, differing only in rate of vibration. We must understand that all things exist as energy even beyond the ordinary physical dimension to the realm where current scientific instruments cannot measure its rate of vibration. All things exist as energy from the lowest rate of vibration, the densest physical condensate of matter all the way to the highest rate of vibration in the universe, The Source, God. The Entire Universe is a Single Super Spectrum of Universal Energy.

There are times when faced with a focused problem involving two contradicting believes, despite your efforts to eliminate the negative one, you can’t seem to succeed because there is a sense of “wrongness” to question the justification of that belief. You understand that to move on you must overcome it but you can’t seem to do so because it has always been in your experience of reality. You try focusing on the positive belief only but at the mean time the negative emerges into your awareness too. So how to remove such a deep-rooted belief?

In your belief system, is God judgmental, controlling and punishing? Or, is the Source of all that is your deep experience of love, wisdom and comfort? Learn to open to God as your friend, rather than a projection of your parents.

As a small child I was given a burgundy book of Bible stories by my grandmother. At the time I couldn’t read, but the pictures set my imagination into action and confronted me with questions.

This coming year promises to bring many changes. I will not make predictions, I leave that to Rhiannon Waits. Each of us can alter the effects of these coming changes by changing our mindset.
