Prayer and Fasting and Bible Study and Church Attendance is No Substitute for a Really Good Failure
Failure is a highly underrated tool of God. Our failure, when viewed appropriately, forces the death of self to occur as well as the life of God. When we fail it gives us an opportunity to really hear what God is saying because failure leaves us empty handed and without our own ideas. Failure positions us to re-position ourselves with God.
Spirituality and Spiritual – DefinitionSpirituality, often misunderstood as a concept, is easily defined as – working to be a true and strict God related spiritual being or development of spiritual being. The highest spiritual achievement ever is one who has developed his/her true divine being to the point that his/her spirit is equal to the holy spirit of God.
There was once a time in my life when I “just” went to church. And I went when I felt like going. It was something I thought I should do, something I could say that I did and somehow it would make me a worthwhile person in the community. Now I know how completely off track I was in my standards. I also assumed that by going I was a “Christian” automatically. I presumed since I wasn’t Jewish or any other religion outside of believing in Jesus, that it made me a Christian! It almost scares me now to think how much I took for granted! There is no excuse for ignorance. I think I may have even chosen churches for the size of their choir and the music that was pumped out of their organ. If these weren’t present, then there was nothing worth going to that church for. Also, if churches put on big pageants at Christmas and Easter, all the better! I suppose I went for some kind of entertainment…for the show. I realize now just what a big mistake I was making. What kind of worship are you engaging in? Is it for a show or is it for the service? There is a difference…a very big difference!
Your Natural StateOnce you are here realizing who you are – right here, right now, seeing that this one that is looking through your very eyes is who you are – you are at home everywhere.
Promises to GodIf there is any practice common to all those with even the faintest belief in God, it is probably making promises to God during times of fear and suffering. The saying “there are no atheists in a foxhole” is well-known and probably quite true.
Reaching The Culture For Jesus With Christian T-ShirtsChristians are to be markerters for Jesus. That means using the tools of the culture to get the message out. You’ll be stunned when you learn how many people read the average Christian T-Shirt.
I used to meditate but I was looking for more direct spiritual experience than meditation techniques and meditation practices could offer. And no matter what your faith or spiritual beliefs, direct spiritual experiences may be closer than you think.
Were Abraham, Isaac and Jacob Jews? The BeginningThe whole world, including The Jews and especially the Cainite-Judeo-Christian Religion, is deceived into thinking that Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, later to be named by The Lord, Israel, were Jews when they were never any such thing. If you find this too hard to believe then a read of this, as the first of my latest series of articles, is a must. How this simple genealogy has been overlooked, unless deliberately, beggars belief, so read on to learn The Truth and a little more of the principle enshrined in 2 Cor 11:3 – The simplicity that is in Christ and His-story.

Being ThoughtfulHere’s an interesting word to contemplate – thoughtfulness. What’s that mean, exactly? Maybe it means we can tear apart a subject with the best of them by looking at the topic deeply or asking a lot of questions. There have been times that, in my discussions with people, we’ve had mind blowing revelations. Let’s explore that together.
Scientific And Spiritual Perspectives On DreamsIn ancient times, dreams were considered to have divine portent; modern theories suggest their main role, if any, is physiological. In this article, Shane Magee looks at each of these perspectives and asks if they can be reconciled.
