For as long as anyone can remember we have been studying the word of the God. The more we expose ourselves to it the more it will expose itself to us. It only makes sense that if we want to know God better it’s important to spend time hearing what He has to say. The Bible is His message to us.

Soaking Prayer is taking our nation, our churches, and the body of Christ by storm. Or should I say, “By saturation?” Soaking groups are springing up everywhere, in homes and in churches. Soaking is not a new phenomenon, just an acceleration of what we used to call “waiting on the Lord.” It takes “waiting on the Lord” to a whole new level, ushering the participant into deeper realization of and communion with Holy Spirit.

How is it that so many of us have been denied our power for so long? Many of you do not even know what I am referring to as it has been so long since we were fully connected. Many more of you know something is missing or so says the whisper of the little voice inside your head. We started out enlightened and then moved quickly into ignorance or so the story goes. We worked together as one tribe and knew to survive we must stick together. Where did those enlightened and cooperative times go?

Intimacy with God – what is it and how is it attained? There are many methods, and sometimes it seems hard to accomplish. Feeling led to approach this subject from a different angle; I decided to share what I’ve learned from my own experiences.

Sometimes we go through all the right motions as it were, and say all the right things yet we still sail off course. It could be the wind of doctrine blowing us off course or it could be a lack of wisdom causing us to be tossed to and fro like a wave of the sea or it could be a storm sent by the enemy to blow us off course. What ever it is that gets us off course we need to call on the Lord to help us get back on course. The church has sailed way off course concerning prosperity in the earth. Somewhere hundreds of years ago it got off course. It is up to us in this generation to not hold our peace or keep silent until the Lord establish wealth in the church.

There is creative power released in our words. We build up faith in our hearts, whether negative or positive, and we release that faith when we speak. This is the spoken abundance of the heart. We have a tongue that can create. We are created in the image of God and we have the power to create life with it, or to destroys with it. The choice is ours and ours alone!

God provides for us a focal point. With that goal, He gave us the required tools to reach it. Constant prayer, Bible study, and living a God centered life will prevent incorrect course changes. But even if we err, God is right there providing the directions to the road back. I thank Him constantly for the undivided attention and for Him ever keeping me on His radar.

Will you stop blaming others for what you choose to do? Will you accept choices you have made that may have caused disappointments in your life? Will you be willing to create in you a clean heart so you can move on to success in your life?

Jesus said, For the mouth speaks out of that which fills the heart, also life and death are in the power of the tongue. Why are words are so powerful. Simply understanding this basic truth will help us to walk in the reality of God’s Word.
