It is important to understand that being a saint does not mean one has sinless behavior. If you say that you have not sinned, you make God out to be a liar (1 John 1:10). Being a saint reveals your identity as a believer, and there are inherent responsibilities in this identity to represent God in a glorifying way.

Right now in these challenging times people seem to be either seeking God or running away – a paradox of faith. The only distinguishable difference is the fertility of the soil in their hearts. The principles in the Parable of the Sower are still alive and well in this present age, 2000 years after they were taught by Jesus.

As we experience a down economy I believe that our faith in God will renew our determination, and purpose in life. Look at the eagle… the majestic bird and lord of the skies who flies so freely. In the Old Testament Isaiah 40:31 says “…But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength.

An old principle has been made fresh to my soul in my recent labors and observations in the Lord. The word says do not judge or you will be judged. To the measure we judge, we will be judged. It is crucial that we understand and rightly apply such a word.

Whatever word or term you use to describe that which is greater than you, you have a direct communication line to that Higher Consciousness or divinity within and without you. It is your choice whether to believe it is there or not. It is your choice whether you use it. And it is your choice whether you master the law of attraction and manifestation to heal, balance and create the life of your dreams.

God’s Word teaches that every believer is holy and righteous. It does not say that we are holy and righteous in ourselves. It says we are holy and righteous because God has made us this way. These concepts must be firmly planted in our hearts if we are to understand our true spiritual identity. As believers, our fundamental nature is now identified with God and His Spirit.

We each have a goal of perfection, as it is personal, spiritual perfection. There is an existing witness of that goal, here on the earth, a witness of its achievement. Only God can create such perfection, and only God can place a witness of that perfection here on the earth.

It is no surprise that the stuff of dreams is only vaguely familiar at best, and most often completely unintelligible. Ideas, though they flourish in the mind, are living. They are reproducing, growing and evolving far beyond our ability to observe them. They have expanded far beyond the limits of our consciousness, beyond the twilight zone of the mind, to where our imaginations hardly dare to follow.

If people were all the same, looking and acting in exactly the same way, life would become extremely boring. This principle holds true in other realms of His creation as well. Each finger on the hand, for example, is different. It is those differences that make the hand such an elegant and effective tool capable of carrying out an amazingly wide array of tasks; it will drive a tent peg into the ground and also do something as delicate as holding an egg. If the hand consisted of five identical thumbs, it wouldn’t work. That is why the expression “all thumbs” means clumsy.

How did Jesus get twelve men, usefully employed, to leave their work and follow him to the ends of the earth? It was all down to great leadership.

Once God starts working in you it is easy to become overwhelmed by a sense of your own abilities. Learn to keep this in check. You can’t serve God and promote yourself at the same time.

The world is getting a whole less loving. As we draw closer to the end of days things are getting darker and darker. People confess Jesus with their lips, but “Jesus, don’t make me take that homeless drunk out for a steak dinner with my friend.”
