There is an infinite amount of amazing yoga beliefs taught all over the world. Many of them come from ancient religious and philosophical scriptures. One of them is the mudita, the principle of sympathetic joy. Mudita takes concepts like “the Attitude of Gratitude” mentioned in the movie “The Secret” and goes a step further.

One sign of spiritual awakening is receiving “secret” messages from the universe (from spirit) that help point you in the right direction. These could be anything from hearing something on the radio that answers a specific question you have been asking, to a gripping conversation with a stranger. Receiving secret messages a la Celestine Prophecy is a sign of spiritual awakening, a sign that you’re not digging your heels in but stepping up to the plate of awakening (except in real life it will be slightly different than in that novel).

My suggestion and advice is do not wait to see where the water is coming from before you start building the ship. Do not wait to see how you are getting to the promise land before you leave captivity.

In my experience in the church (not all churches) Gods presence has been replaced with much activity during the worship service. Speaking in tongues, dancing in the spirit and the display of half decent oratory skill (called preaching). When you are called out or preached about in a sermon, how can one feel the presence of God?

I want to share an experience I had about two years ago. I am not going to tell you names of the people involved or the place that this happened because this isn’t to advertise for anyone, I just want to share my testimony to you.
