The people who go genuinely far in this life seem to have two traits. They are both faithful and trustworthy and they scour the world for knowledge, good knowledge that’s etched in truth. This produces understanding and that leads to the authenticity and cogency of wisdom.

In every hopelessness, there is usually hope as its base word. As earlier stated in one of my articles titled Blessings on your palms, I explained that we should always value what we have with us as the saying goes, a bird in the hand worth more than a thousand in the bush. This however does not mean that we should be contended or complacent with just the little but put in efforts to ensure that the little increases.

Do you know that what is in your hand is a source of blessing to your life and those who are at your immediate environment? Your life will be blessed by it. When you discover it, you will be made different by it transforming your life and people will call you a blessed one. God usually use what you have in your hands to meet your needs if only you will first of all do what He commands you to do. In fact, when He demands from you, it may seem as if He is trying to compound your problems or make you poorer but He knows what He is doing. He cannot give you greater thing without collecting the little you are holding tightly in your hand. If you don’t open your palms to give and to give out what is in it, you may not likely get another one, certainly the greater.

It’s the age-old question. “Who made God?”

It is rare in today’s bustling modern world to find a sense of perfect peace. Living with terrorist plots that make travel uncomfortable, working in an economic environment which only causes stress and difficulties, knowing that there is still massive inequality in the world and that children in some countries are dying of hunger, all these things contribute to our disquiet. Where can we turn to for peace of mind?

Each day can provide us with different opportunities to learn new things and that includes learning how to deal with our problems. We need to focus on the present and stop trying to predict what may or may not happen next week. Next week will take care of itself, let us live for today.

The view of Islam on love is a logical one and is based on perfect adaptation to the nature of men and women. If we really think deep into the subject we will have no objections on the above statement. The teachings of Islam on love are based on the teachings sent by God who created men and women and knows their true needs and wants.

Beyond at times our own messy sense stands God. Why the LORD would remain – to us – at this distance, only heaven truly knows. But God is known to reward those who earnestly seek him (Hebrews 11:6).

Our Father desires for all of us to have an intimate relationship with Him. By reading, obeying, and believing the Word of God, we are able to understand His character, embrace His love, and know the importance of loving others. The Word of God shows us the responsibility the believer has to a dying world and the accountability that goes along with it.

Standing in the grocery store aisle staring at the shelf, I couldn’t find what I wanted. I tried another aisle, then another – still nothing.
