As in many activities, dance is something that must be practiced over and over again. The ballet bar is a perfect example of using repetition to achieve perfection. A beginning ballet student learns the same steps that the most advanced performer is still doing many years later, every day. Mediumship is the art of speaking and communicating to ghosts and spirits. The skilled person who performs the rituals associated with passing messages between spirits and human beings is known as a medium. Mediumship is often related to religion in different countries and even today, the practice is prominent in countries like America, England, Germany and many developed nations. In different cultures mediums are often referred to as chosen people who have a special ability to talk to spirits as if they were talking to normal humans. The term ‘Spiritualism’, sometimes termed “Spiritism” in Europe and Latin America, has perhaps grayed to mean those who believe in any kind of karmic or cosmic ordering in the world (“I am a very spiritual person”), but its real meaning and roots comes from the belief that the spirits of the dead reside in a spirit world, and can contact us through multiple means. One of the most pronounced of these means is through the use of “mediums” who are able to convene with the dead. The spirit world is then able to impart information about the afterlife, and give insight into situations troubling the living world.

Isn’t that silly? What if a baby said, “One time I stood up and then I fell down so now I don’t stand up anymore.” Think about it. Every decision of “I won’t do that again,” was made when you were younger than you are now, and didn’t know as much about anything as you do now.
