The desires of our hearts, if matched with the will of God, will certainly take place. Indeed, it is a fact that the desires of our hearts shift more readily than we care to think of right now. As human beings we think very statically. We don’t see ourselves changing our minds. But the reality is we do change our minds. We only have to cast back a couple of years, comparing that to now, to discover this truth.

It is natural to wonder what God wants from us, but can we really know? Learn what Jesus says is the most important thing to know, and the three tools God has given us with which we can respond to his still, gentle voice.

Two significant spiritual issues are covered in this article. 1) the impact of assumptions on our spirituality, and 2) the importance of reflecting forward upon understanding the mystery of the unknown future.

Many people in Western countries have a very comfortable life with all the necessities that anyone can ask for, yet they are unfulfilled and dissatisfied. The normal course of action is to find a new job or relationship. It does not take long until another change is required since that is not the real problem.

I would say that there are two types of slaveries present in this world. The very first one is the physical slavery and the other one is spiritual slavery. Most of the people are free from the physical slavery but only a few people were able to free themselves from the spiritual slavery.

One of the things that people struggle with the most is being a human being, particularly if they are on the Spiritual path. Many people on this path feel that it calls upon us to demonstrate a different set of values and improved behaviour, and they would be right. However, my Spirit Guide Amos says that we ask too much of ourselves, so we had a chat and these are the conclusions I came to. I hope that they help those struggling to be Spiritual, particularly those who are being made to feel un-Spiritual by those who consider themselves to be the epitome of Spiritual Behaviour.

A relationship with God is highly effective. Sometimes He is your only option.

Meditation is consciously directing your attention inward to alter your state of consciousness. There’s no limit to the things you can direct your attention toward: symbols, sounds, colours, breath, uplifting thoughts, spiritual realm, etc. Meditation is simply about attention and intention, where you direct it, and how it alters your consciousness.

Summing it up, we all experience hunger in different aspects of our lives. Emotional hunger, knowledge hunger, spiritual hunger, physical hunger, material hunger etc. These by themselves are not wrong. It is the way we satisfy them that makes the difference. We should realise that God put the hunger there and he will provide the appropriate satisfaction, albeit in his own time.
