Jet is a variety of coal known as lignite and is generally black or dark brown, and may contain inclusions of Pyrite, which may create a brassy, metallic lustre. It is organic in origin, and is also known as black amber, although it is not actually Amber. It is a form of petrified wood similar to coal with a Mohs Hardness of 2.5 with an amorphous crystal structure. Like coal, Jet is a carbon based stone that is formed from the remains of wood that has been immersed in water for millions of years, then compacted and fossilized by extreme pressure. When burned or touched with a hot implement, it often exudes the characteristic smell of burning coal.Being a fossilized resin Jet shares a close energetic relationship to Amber and this stone when rubbed with a cloth will build up an electrical charge attracting pieces of dust or paper, similar to Amber.

The aged John who is now in his nineties have been a faithful follower of Jesus Christ for sixty years is being shown something of what will happen at the very end of time as we know it. Will you be there? Will you be part of the bride? Having had an invitation from the risen and living Lord Jesus Christ, have you replied positively and graciously and lovingly? Life as we presently know it will be completely changed and transformed, and replaced by a far better one. Does the thought of all this excite and thrill you? If you are a loyal loving faithful disciple of Jesus Christ, it will!

DECEMBER 18, 2003, was a special day. Late morning I strolled to a nearby park and began running laps. It was a hot day, but I cannot recall feeling hot. At one point, as I was praying, I was brought to a standstill and then I was dropped to my knees; tears of replete joy streaming down my face, a giant goose bump consumed my entire being.

The transformational state is based on pure awareness in the ‘Now’; the future is taken care of by that holistic state of mind. In contrast, paths to preset goals sustain the ego through expected fulfillment; the ‘Now’ is relegated as a mere passage.

When we think of attack, it usually brings to mind images of war or some sort of physical assault. In A Course in Miracles (ACIM), attack means much more than causing bodily harm. We’ve all been the victim of less obvious attacks where we come away feeling all alone, angry and victimized by others; and in return, we victimize them by retaliating. All attack is considered a call for love because the person is experiencing a condition of the idea of separation. We never attack another unless we already agreed (chose) to believe ourselves separate and different.
