May 21, 2011, 5:55 PM, I looked at my clocks and synchronized them in preparation for the Rapture. At 6:05 PM, I looked at my synchronized clocks and decided that the Rapture must have come and gone, leaving me behind, because I was still here.

As Christians, we need to learn how to lay hold of the power of the Biblical promises of God. An easy way to get started is to follow His calendar. Stand on His promises and watch your life change.

In this article I answer some of a readers questions about their personal bad experiences. I explain how there simply are no accidents, and events are attracted to a person due to the nature of their beliefs and thoughts. When two people are involved in an event, both parties will be aware of the event and its consequences in advance of the event actually physically materializing.

We don’t need to have it all together. Hope is beyond all this. Hope is something beyond our understanding. Our unexplainable confidence will be vindicated. Hope sees to it.

“Only those who feel good about who they are can express humility.” (Sanaya Roman) For it takes someone who truly loves him/herself to acknowledge that they don’t have all the answers, that they may be wrong about something, or that they are not the greatest or best at everything. When you are able to openly admit these things and still feel good about who you are, then you are a humble person. For it takes a true love of self to feel self-confident and humble. When you love yourself, you come across as loving, sincere, authentic and real – you convey humility. You do not need validation from others to feel valuable and worthy.

I’ve talked about how what we look at (both in terms of where we focus our attention and in how we choose to see things) affects our experience of life. But did you know it also affects who we are? When you continually listen to that loud, pesky voice that demands your attention, that complains and is negative about things, that questions your ability, that says you’re not good enough, you will find your life isn’t working well. You will find yourself living from your smallest self. But when you listen for that still small voice that quietly whispers words of truth and wisdom (your internal GPS), you will discover that life is fulfilling and enjoyable, and that you feel like ‘yourself”, because you’re living from your higher self.

Jesus can change your life for the better. Keep re-reading that sentence until you understand it and believe it. In how many different ways could your life be better? What is it that makes you anxious or afraid? Are there factors in your life stopping you from becoming the best you can possibly be? If so, how can faith in someone who lived two thousand years ago make any difference at all?

Everyone faces stress at one time or another. It’s part of life. We all tend to believe that stress is bad nonetheless it does not have to be. Learning to handle all stress, without reference to the cause is important thanks to the harm it causes each of us.

Have you ever walked the streets of your city and mentally stuck your nose up at a beggar, vagrant, or bum? Oh, you may not say anything out loud about them but as you’re driving down the street in your nice car you may be thinking in your head, “Why don’t these people get their acts together?” Do they scare you? Just what are you afraid of? Becoming like them one day?

I’ve seen couples walk into a hospital, sign abandonment papers, turn over their newborn baby, and walk away. The baby was inconvenient for them. Imagine a healthy, perfect baby being inconvenient!
