When I was a pre-teen, I had a dream that my Aunt, who visited our family every weekend and she was crying and holding her very large, red and throbbing ear. The following day, my Aunt asked me if I would cut her hair which is a talent I always had and did for family members. While I was cutting her hair, the scissor slipped and I cut her ear. I got a very eery feeling about it and other such dreams that I had occasionally, but on the whole, I never seriously thought about it or considered what it might mean.

What would happen if we all were committed to change and deeds of goodness? Small things do with great love really can change the world.

Jesus never allowed anything on earth to separate Him from His Father and /or from the Holy Spirit. He always stayed 100% focused.

Last summer I received a small inheritance. The next thing I knew I was packing and leaving on a voyage. Bon Voyage? I had the opportunity of being on board the Oosterdam and in a work shop featuring Neale Donald Walsh as our teacher. For one ecstatic week I listened to Neale’s discourse on Body, Mind and Spirit and kept notes. Also every day I was viewing the majestic Rocky Mountains carpeted with green forest as we traveled up the Alaskan coastline. I came back home with renewed personal power a soul that was recharged. These are the notes on getting in touch with your own creative solutions to life’s problems. I think it is good to share the notes and essence of this talk. It is even more critical to keep our creativity alive when the economy is sinking with some of our dreams in its clasp.

When we meet someone for the first time we look for things we find acceptable, and are disgusted by those things we find unacceptable. But before you judge someone, listen to their story. You may be glad you did.

I have been fascinated with the workings of the market since I was a stock broker in the “penny stocks” in Denver in the 1980s. Now I view the market from a more spiritual perspective, but this is a practical spirituality that recognizes the need for an understanding of the financial world. I recently read an article in the Washington Post that reminds us that everything in life is connected, which relates to the current problems in the stock market and the banks.

Is your life wonderful? Is it the best that you believe it could possibly be? Have you gotten from it everything for which you have ever hoped and dreamed? If your life has fallen short of the ideal, perhaps you should consider the relationships in which you are involved- or better yet, the one in which you are not involved. Having a personal relationship with God and His son Jesus can make all the difference in the world.

Are you deep inside of me and all around me? Have you not created everything I see and all of the unseen? Are your miracles of life everywhere present? Is your hope of eternal life possible for me? Do you love me like your child? Is it time for me to grow up?

Another obstacle to your faith walk might be concern at what others might think of you. These days it’s harder than ever to admit in public that you are walking with Jesus. I once killed a party stone dead by doing just that, loud enough so that everyone could hear.

Are you a person who does not feel as if you fit? Many people feel as if they are out of place. Here are three ways you may feel as if you belong.

This idea shocks the minds of people who believe in one God. They do agree that one common God has created them. But just after that, when it comes to the point of religion, the same people who are united by the idea of common God principle isolate themselves on the issue of different religions, like which is the first religion, which is the right religion, and so many other theological points. All the arguments end with, “You are wrong, I am right.” George Bernard Shaw once said, “There is only one religion, though there are a hundred versions of it.”
