The age-old problem with humanity has been our vanity…our propensity to believe that we can somehow bypass the grace of God by fending for ourselves. Satan is a master at enticing us towards this end. Embracing this temptation caused mankind to fall and our earth to be dominated by sin and the pain and suffering that come with it.

There is a lot of bologna going around as it relates to the topic of purpose. Gurus flood the internet trying to sell their magic formulas for a more successful life. The problem with the vast majority is that it’s “me” rather than Christ-centered.

Understanding your life purpose does not have to be something that is confusing or mysterious. Our general purpose in life is made very clear through the scriptures: Humans were placed on earth to love God with their entire beings (heart, mind, soul and strength) and to express this love in a way that causes other people to do the same. Imagine the impact, both toward this world, but also into eternity, if each of us made this our life’s mission.

Jesus Christ is the only One Who can give peace – peace in your heart – peace in your life – peace in the world – and one day the Prince of Peace will come and reign with the rule of peace – make no mistake about that.

Life is full of surprises. Life is full of challenges. Life is full of Games. Let us all be attuned to our strength and perseverance in order to move through our difficult and weak times with Faith. Let us all imagine our dreams as possibilities.
