We have coined phrases such as “time flies” only to confirm our view that there is not enough of it to get done what our mind says is important. And yet life rushes on or so it seems. Come on now, let’s admit it, we are all having a modern day love affair with speed and the faster the better. There is a very good case for speed. The exhilaration you experience from that stomach in your chest feeling that you can only get with the speed of the ride at the amusement park. Or what about the thrill you get from accelerating a car around a race circuit.

You have more control than you think! Creating space for new experience is a conscious choice.

When so many bad and scary things are happening in the world, a Christian should not be worried or wavered. I believe this is the time for the children of God to inherit the earth. The only thing we need to do is apply the principals of God. He tells us that in order to receive what we want, we need to release that which we are holding in our hands. Especially when it comes to financial prosperity, you need to exercise the principal of seed time and harvest.

This is a comforting verse in PS.37:19. In the days we are living in, life has become very uncertain. What is happening in the world is affecting everyone in every corner of the world. People are dying from unknown diseases such as the recent swine flu and Aids. Famine is being felt everywhere in the world especially in the developing countries. No one is certain of what tomorrow holds for them, if they will have a job or not.

Psalms 34:19 says that the afflictions of the righteous are many but God delivers him from them all. This is a verse that should always be near a born again Christian’s heart. When you gave your life to Christ you entered a battle field that will last until the day you go to heaven. Some Christians, especially the newly born again ones do not usually understand why after making this very important decision, your life becomes a hell not the heaven you thought.

Jesus said that until we are able to turn our backs on our family and loved ones to follow Him we would be of no use to Him in the Kingdom. Many people are shocked by this line because they think it means we ought to stop loving our nearest and dearest. Many deceived cults have used this to break up families.

When God created the world, he made man and woman. In them, there was seed to fill the earth. God could have made all the people he needed to fill the earth but this would have gone contrary to who he is. He put a seed in every plant and animal as a way of giving them power to rule there destiny. God told man, be fruitful, multiply and fill the earth. This meant that man had all the power he needed to rule over the earth. He was not to go back to God to ask for more power of favor. It was already in him.

Tithing is giving 10% of all you get or earn to God. Tithe is given to the house of God, not a charity organization or to the needy. In Malachi 3, God is lamenting on how we have been robbing Him. He is asking, can man rob God, yet we have in tithes and offerings. To start with, how do you rob your creator, the maker of that which you are taking from him. This has been happening for we no longer have the fear of God in our hearts. We go on and do things that do not please God knowingly not caring of how much we are hurting our relationship with Him.
